http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Compa...s/Company-of-Heroes-2-Beta-Benchmark-1066145/ A little comparison on the performance in this game with various GPU's.
Open Beta starts today - 18.05.2013. http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/06/04/company-of-heroes-2-open-beta-deploys-today/ Edit: Now available.
http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Compa.../Company-of-Heroes-2-Test-Benchmarks-1073001/ Performance comparison with the new beta version of the game, pretty demanding even with just FXAA if you check the lowest framerate figures, the power of the 780 and Titan allows Nvidia to keep up pretty well with AMD compared to the 680 against the 7970 but newer drivers will probably improve this further.
Replayed this and still dont like it compared to the original titles. 2 arcadey for me. Then again I preferred the sp to the mp so am judging the game on the skirmish mode so far. Pretty sure i'll wait and get this on sale.
Hmm, i don't like the game either for the full price on Steam, but for 27,83€ it's not much is it?! http://www.clavecd.es/comprar-clave-cd-company-of-heroes-2-y-comparar-los-precios/
i'd have been happy if they kept the original format and just updated with more sp campaign/units etc. well ofc some graphical improvements but the thing about the original series wasnt really about the graphics (well they were done well) but the gameplay which is great. that said maybe the sp will be fun with company of heroes 2.
wow. You cannot expect people to buy cd-keys, when they normaly buy games in stores, etc. So you can almost say for everygame, "for under 30 € its not much, is it!?" (for its price) when you only buy in cd-key shops. So the price argument is invalid.
How is it invalid? It's cheaper than directly from steam. A lot of people buy keys from these sites, not much wrong with it.
it does. So, full price on Steam= bad, not gonna buy, dont like. Buy cd-key, yay, cheap= gonna buy, like it. So, every game is much cheaper than on steam e.g. so the argument is invalid, cos its always cheaper there plus he said, he only gonna get it or advise to buy it, if its cheap, so again, every game cheaper on cd-key sites = argument for buying there is good where on steam its bad.
Oh man. Mitzi said: "Pretty sure i'll wait and get this on sale." What i meant with my sentence is, he does not need to wait for a sale because it's a lot cheaper if he gets it on cd-key sites.
COH was not one of the easier RTS games for me. A lot of trial and error in finding the right strategies to advance to the each level in SP campaign. Enjoyed it, but never had any confidence to go MP with it. Wonder how the difficulty compares in COH2. Same? Or easier, tougher this time around?
He said the £40 it costs on steam is too much for this game. But at £30 it's decent value. What is it you don't understand? It's all about value for money.
yeah i know it's £10 cheaper on cdkey sites but am tempted to give it a miss @£30 completely. just my impressions so far it's not as good as it's predecessors, which is sad.
Yeah, i love and still play Coh 1, actually, it's the only game right now i still play as i left Grid 2 today, i got tired of it after 50h of online mode. I think i'll pass Coh 2 as well, i was expecting a lot more in terms of graphics/hud design.
