Needs to be at $200 bucks to compete against R5 1600.

You are joking right? The cpu is many times faster in games than the 1600. Even the 8400 AND 8350k is much faster than the 1600...

Might be faster in games true but people do more then just game with there computers.

To amds defence I am pretty sure if ryzen was able to hit those clock speeds we would not be having this conversation right now.

Well you buy what you need. Intel and amd are both cooperates that are innovating for one goal and that is to make money for their shareholders.

Also that price does not make much sence seems like they are milking it and not releasing the i7 on purpose, Price was supposed to be $284 so I dont know what the xtra $$$$ is for???

I need to upgrade like very soon so been watching coffee lake vs Ryzen for some time now.

Same here Airbud. They did really well with the clockspeed hard to believe they can hit over 5ghz! That cpu for a flight sim machine would be insanely good! Thats exactly what I need.
