SPOILER!! Theres actually apparently some type of recording or something at the end of the movie that if you play it backwards it says that its still alive. That is just a rumour my friend read on the internet, and I dont know if its true because I couldnt stand being in that theatre for another minute. Even the credits sucked.
it was sort of like the blair witch project, but it was okay for me , not good, not great, but OKAY like a "c" although i did like some parts though, i won't spoil it until more people watched it, but i hated the shakey camera, theater even passed out barf bags.
Damnit, I was hoping that it would be a good movie. My wife can't play FPS because they make her sick so I guess this movie is a no-go with the shaky camera stuff. Oh well, I still haven't seen I Am Legend.
I am Legend is good for the first half, but then stuff comes out of nowhere and it ends completely missing the point of the source story. They open many doors and never explore them so you wonder where the rest of the movie is. As for Cloverfield? Whatever.
It was actually one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It was very suspenseful and surprisingly the acting was great. I guess you have to like the first person camera look to appreciate it. My rating is a 5/5.
I appreciate the advice but considering that my wife is a pharmacist, well....... However, I'd still rather go see I Am Legend or AVP:Requiem.
People here apparently review movies like they review games. In Guru3D, you can whine about anything. Before anyone reads this thread and goes into the movie expecting crap, I recommend going in there and sitting and enjoy it. Its a much different experience and is quite a ride. If you are afraid its so bad, even critics have much better ratings than what I've read on this forum. Also check out the somethingawful.com forums which has a megathread on it. Very good info.
CloverField Has to be one of the best movies ive seen in a long time. Apart from the Lame Ending Everything upto it was awsome. Beats the Crap out of i am legend.
OK, question, seriously, were you under the influence of recreational, natural pharmaceuticals? I'm not being critical, this is a serious question. I saw Starship Troopers 6 times because I had an oversupply of a certain thing called Panama Red. This is, of course, a long past issue(try 11 years), unfortunately, due to my marriage and daughter.

Ahh, Panama Red, the best ____ I ever made use of. The good ole' days...... But, thanks for your further confirmation of my resolve that I'll wait until it hits HBO or Showtime before I watch it.
Jeesus, Whats wrong with people now days... Cloverfield Was Different than Any other movie, it went to another level, Especially the advertisements. Just becuase it doesnt have fancy effects and massive storylines doesnt make it crap. You must have no sense of humour or something else to not like it.
