I appear to be in the same boat. It seems to have made it through the clock testing, and it looks like I was able to save the results to one of the two profiles. But the button to actually APPLY the profile appears disabled. What good is a program like this if it won't actually let me implement the results of its effort?

I don't know how to save the profile honestly after the "Diagnostic"->"Start" sequence...
I will add here the log+ a screenshot of my program so maybe someone could help me with the settings so I could add them manually, as I don't have that much of an experience.

What settings inside of the bios would you suggest, for a r9 3900x and a asus strix x570.

for example ASUS - LLC 3 or Auto, Phase mode - Optimized(standard) or Extreme, Current capability mode - 100% or 120% or Auto
and should i enable my xmp profile before or after i use the tool?

the reason i ask is because the tool started to crash the pc since yesterday, it was working fine before.

it seems to me that you got into the BIOS something changed there and now you have instability, you had to first read the instruction and do it as there - there and LLC are indicated for different boards and everything else
are you breaking the system now even without running CTR?

If I at Ryzen Master create a profile for games and write down CTR stable acceleration data there, but I will only run RM without CTR it will work as well as if I run CTR?

And it seems to me that 1 bad core will interfere with the acceleration now 7 others, and not 3

Can we apply the settings 1to 1 into bios ?

also can we do anything to improve the oc it finalizes on ?

let it reset to the default BIOS settings if the problem persists then it has damaged the hardware

Yeah, I have read it... hopefully is another lie from marketing.
Would have been great but AMD is what it is.
Anyway the new CPUs can do static OC like never seen before per CCX.
Not much of a "problem" seems.

you mean, reset the LLC3 to default and all that stuff?
so without using the program, the settings made in the bios are not doing anything?

Sure, you can definitely do that. It's just a bit hacky... and the program should be able to do this. I've taken the values from CTR and set it in the BIOS/UEFI.

Regardless, thanks for sharing this idea! It should help some people out until the functionality is baked into the program.

Today I upgraded to the latest version (1702) of Ryzen Master.

Sadly that seems to have broken CTR, as it doesn't load properly anymore.

Hoping for a new Beta version, that fixes this :)

    Edit:

Downgrading to 2.6.0.1692 fixed it so that CTR loads properly again.

I've just upgrades to a Ryzen 5 3600 on a B450 Tomahawk, and I ran the diagnostic, but it didn't stop for over 2 hours. In the end I clicked the stop button to stop it and CTR just closed. This is my first time using CTR so i wanted to check if this is normal?

The diagnostic VID had gotten all the way down to ~580mV

CTR eventually crashes every time I try to let it do its thing. It does the diagnostic just fine and will do the tuning process for a while but eventually the app quits. At first I thought maybe my CPU LLC was too low because I was getting 2% vDroops (log attached: CTR_log-Level3-a.png, CTR_log-Level3-b.png), so I changed it to Level 4 and reran with a higher recommended reference frequency and vDroops between .5-1% (log attached: CTR_log-Level3-a.png, CTR_log-Level3-b.png, CTR_log-Level3-c.png). Both times it crashed and gave the following 3 errors in my Windows Application Log. It seems like it's doing it about when it should be prompting me to save the profile.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? My motherboard is an Asus Tuf Gaming x570-plus wi-fi. I have PBO disabled (in both places that I found it mentioned in the bios) and all of my other settings match the recommendations that I've seen in this thread and the basic tutorial post.

Yeah that worked for any version lower than CTR 1.1 beta 7 but no longer works for CTR 1.1 beta 7 and that's the problem

How long do I have to wait For the diagnostic to fail? It's up to Step 113 559mV.

Feel like I've done something wrong, only pressed the "Diagnostic" button.
