ClockTuner 2.0 for Ryzen (CTR) Guide and download

Guys Can`t find the "Performance Enhancer" setting I should set to Disabled on my Bios. Is an asus Bios in a Crosshair VIII Dark Hero, updated to last version. Anyone could help pls?

 

Exactly the same happened to me, except for the browser problems. Deleting the %LOCALAPPDATA%/A directory in my case, make the UI visible again when u relaunch the program. BTW i have lost the silicon lotery, my samply is a crappy Bronze T_T

 

I also have a 3900x and a gigabyte 570x aorus pro (F33a), and I can't get near the frequencies 1.1.beta 7 did.
My cinebench score went down from stock clocks!

Booth versions consider my CPU a SILVER sample

1.1beta 7 results are:

2.0 RC3 results are:
VID 1256
CCX1 4150
CCX2 4150
CCX3 4150
CCX4 4150

2.0 RC3 never tried to increase clocks or voltage in the tune process, always went down from the diagnostic start clocks.
Something is wrong, I read the "instructions" twice.

 

Almost same herem it just undervolted my 5600X. Which is not bad. I have stock performance at some crazy temps, around 60C full load.

I rather stick to PBO + curve opti for better performance.

 

does this program replace ryzen
master?

 

I need to do a clean install to fix my pc.
Always got BSOD with WHEA erros.
al least my cpu is silver sample lol

 

I have 5900x with MSI B500 Tomahawk. The Diag works fine but when I press tune the pc hard resets and the .ini file is corrupted. After increasing the reference voltage and lower the reference clock a little bit I got both test to finish without crashing. Now for the profiles if I press apply profile immediately the clocks changes but they don't switch from P1 to P2. Should they be just readied and when the load hits the processor auto chooses P1 or P2 ? For now I didn't get any performance increase from just adding -15 on the curve optimiser, maybe when we get the 1 core boost P0 profile it will be worth it.

 

I did the tuning etc. Then I played a game called Squad. All ran fine for like 20+ minutes until Easy Anti Cheat shuts the game down and says something along the lines: "untrusted program CTR 2.0". Anyone know how to fix this? It defeats the purpose of overclocking with this software if I cant play games with it being in the background.

 

Goodmorning everyone,
I have been trying since yesterday to apply CTR 2.0 profiles on my R5 3600X with no success.

Here's exactly what happens:

1st Start the diagnostics
2nd CTR performs R20
3rd Start Tune
4th At the end of Tune CTR executes R20 which at the end of the process crashes together with CTR.

Anyone having such problems?

I have set everything from Bios as required, I have a Rog Strix B450F motherboard with the latest version of Bios / Agesa.

Look at tha temp difference though between the two...

 

amd's utilities are way cooler than xtu

As someone already mentioned in this thread, Ryzen Master stopped working after using this, is this intended or I should reinstall it and it's going to work?

 

Great program. got my 5900x on a Asus VIII Hero running CCX1 4725 CCX2 4650 @ 1,285. Resulting in 9213 score in cinebench with temps not exeeding 72 degrees.

 

I had a restart during the testing phase, but after that I run the TUNE and it worked flawlessly. The 2 profiles are up and running.

Previously my 5800X reached 85° , now it stops at 73°. Just great.

Ok so it seems for me that relaxing the suggested values after Diagnostic run, made the program not crash after pressing tune, here´s the history:

After passing the Diagnostic, suggested values for undervolting, for me where 4000Mhz and 1.0 vcore . With these values the program crashed and the comp reboots just when pressing "TUNE" (too low voltage values for the cpu to run? dont know).
This crash and reboot, as Hillbert says in the previous post, somehow made CTR config file on %LOCALAPPDATA%/A directory corrupted. This corrupted file wont let the program run after the reboot. This problem could be "workarounded" in my case by deleting the A named directory in your %LOCALAPPDATA% folder as the program recreates the dir and the file if not found on startup.

Then modified the suggested values to 4100Mhz and 1050mv, this time the program could pass its tests and I could save and apply the profile with no problem.

For those with problems may be worth a try, good luck.
