Upon looking for a new version to replace my start bar i knew classic shell has been defunct for a while now, but someone has picked up the code and created a fork, new version seems smoother and works perfectly again. Thought id post it here for people to check out as its miles better than the default win 10 start bar. https://github.com/passionate-coder/Classic-Start im not affiliated, just know how important this app was to me and others for a bit of sanity on win 10.
Nice find. I'm still using 4.3.1 with no notable issues but will give this a try. As you say, it does indeed keep me sane

OMG, I didn't know. I probably have it saved somewhere, but if I got a new computer at work or something and couldn't install Classic Shell, absolutely my productivity would be halved. Sanity indeed!
