Atleast the website is.
Didn't they go out of business? How did they magically reclaim all the stores they lost?
SystemMax bought out the Circuit City name. They also own TigerDirect.
Probably another government infusion..... or not.
I do most shopping on line, but I still love brick and mortar stores too, and all we really have around here is Best Buy.
Hopefully CC finds it's way back to success.
Eh, who cares. I kinda hated circuit city. Everything I ordered from them was already scratched/damaged when it arrived.
they also own compusa...haha
Yeah, SysteMax has been on a shopping spree. If you look at the CompUSA website, the layout is almost the same as the TigerDirect website.
SysteMax also intends on re-opening a limited number of Circuit City stores. I'm not sure if they'll have the same stock they used to or if they'll be hardware outlets like the TigerDirect stores.
Thatd be nice. tigerdirect isnt bad, their 7 day shipping quotes scare me away, but their tv's are very cheap.....
wasn't there some news awhile back that compusa were going to re-open by moving into circuit city stores that closed?
uggg. i really hope their site gets a re design (I wondered why CC looks like tiger direct). I hate the way TD is laid out. Really hard to find what you want, or search for a product range when your browsing through.
Might as well just expand tigerdirect, instead of buying CC.
if the beat micro center's prices I will glady switch to them.
