Download the all-new Cinebench Release 230. Cinebench is now based on the latest Release 23 code using updated compilers, and has a minimum runtime activated by default. You can post your scores in this thread.

    Download MAXON Cinebench R23

    What a boring release :(

At least they changed the scene in previous releases... but with this one, it's exactly the same.
A simple update of the rendering engine to the new version.

Even the timed run ... is not a new feature, it existed before in preferences, it simply got two default values ( 600 and 1800 , aka 10 mins and 30 mins ). Zzzzzzzz

  4. I'm still hoping they will add a GPU accelerated ray-tracing test one day. Ideally with the same scene as CPU test. Would be nice to see the differences as GPUs mature.

Ah, the free app that almost singlehandedly defeated the biggest CPU manufacturing corporation. The reason to buy a new CPU and watch what numbers it will spit up. Oh, the consumer PC industry, what a time to be alive.

its a Win-RT app, windows 8 or higher required

The developers specify windows 10 as the minimum supported OS.

I got 17115 pts in the 10 minute multicore test with 3900X
Got 1252 pts 10 minute single core.

The 10 minute loop definitely makes it more accurate... I was watching the orange bar as the first and second test finished, and it definitely dropped a good bit by second repeat of test. Scores between R20 and R23 are way different too - it was about 7200 pts in R20.

That number looks like a single run (* beside score means it was), you need to do the 10 minute (test throttling) run to get accurate number.

I suggest you turn on PBO and set offset voltage like I did. It makes great impact on long term boost and frequency maintanance. I did the whole test, almost the same results as he did. I guess he uses better ram with better timings, or maybe a negative offset, I don't know. He needs to share more info.
