  2. Not really sure of the conversion but a 7600GT should fit nicely in your budget and give you nice performance too:)

I don't know about prices in Canada but you can get a 7900GT for a little less than $300.00 USD. Much better performance than a 7600GT for sure.

  4. Yes but USD is much more in CAD.

thanks for the reply .. roughly $100 canidian ..
will it be worth it??? will i really get a $100 improvement ..
my budget is kinda tight .
    cheers .

  6. You'll be fine with the 7600GT:) If you've got a tight budget the 7600GT is a great card. You'll be able to play whatever you want with very good IQ settings:)

Not to mention there is a current rash of bad cards going around from EVGA's 7900GT:(

    Ummmm...... probably. But nothing more.

  9. You'll Be OK with 350w. But definently not with the 7900GT.

Power supply might be ok... But I would get a 400+ just to make sure, An unstable power supply is the worst possibe thing that could happen to a computer.

Depends on what you want to play, doesn't it. Hl², Far Cry, FEAR, AOE III, Oblivion: no fudging way. You'll have to stick with the slightly older generation of games (since that GF2 is even worse than your old 5200).
