Indeed, it is a leather jacket! :D

I hope they send a review sample to Hilbert. And spyware free drivers.

Leather jacket omg, the meme :eek:

RTX 3060 level of performance is nice.

Took years for Intel to deliver something near that, and they did it in one year?
    They must be really smart.

A graphics card is no angle grinder. It takes a lot of know-how to make one, even if you had "borrowed" technology from others. Furthermore, the driver/software side is another huge issue. That being said, it's not like China would have needed to go out of their way to obtain the technology. High tech companies from all over the world brought the technology with them when they transferred all of their manufacturing to China.

China is slowly but surely catching up. They have made huge progress in copying ASML technology as well. I guess they have to, since things are becoming more and more strained between democracies and totalitarian states.

I think that high tech manufacturing has been transferred to Taiwan, not to china. I'm sure we will have some reviews about these, if these cards are ever sold outside china.

Fixed that for you, no reason to fix the faulty translation from Asia in the process..!

That seem to be true for non chinese. But to clear up this myth:
in China it is a very big honor, in fact, the biggest honor, for someone to be copied. A copy of your work, shows that you earn all the respect for your hard work and makes you the king of kings.
Your reputation even increases when your work can be further improved by others.
I know it is difficult to understand for most people, espec. for americans and europeans, we see it the other way round: my work belongs to me, and me only, to copy somethings shows, that you are not smart enough to do the hard work yourself and your only success relies on the hard work done by others, so you just don´t deserve it. Neverthelss, no excuse, everybody must follow world business rules and patent law.

Edit: I wrote: "... most people...". I'm not sure if this is still correct.

It would be really embarassing if this thing performed better than the one from Intel...

brogadget is no entirely worng about how copying is viewed in certain parts of the world.

For many being copied is an honor because it shows they created something so good that others have no other alternative than to copy them.

Like many say, copying is the biggest compliment we can give to someone.

Of course they don`t copy just for this reason, they copy because it`s the easiest way to achieve something and make money but truth be told, everyone is copying everyone, even in Europe and in the United States...

So they've got Nvidia's presentation style, a heatsink design similar to AMD's, they're named after an Intel co-founder. I'm sure they stole the architecture from Qualcomm.

    The ultimate knockoff.
