Didnt play yet...
Oh , its using UE4 i see. Nice! ive been tweaking Code Vain to much delight. what a wunderfull engine UE4 is.
Thanks, I guess this holds for more UE4-games?
I've heard that this is a total mess. Not every map is open and not every weapon is unlocked. Will wait for the final release.
scenery looks nice, but the gameplay and gunplay are terrible, mission timers and just broken.
Feel like i've paid for the devs to holiday in ukraine on a regular basis and take photos.
Ok. I know the thread is old. But who has gotten this game of late, and has played it? Apparently it`s close to a final Spring release. Thoughts ?
I have it, but haven't played it in a LONG time.
Been waiting for the final release.
Apparently it has had some fairly big updates in the last few months. I`m leaning towards trying this 1 out.
I liked it thought when it was in early release so I guess I'll like it more when it's done.
I take it this prolly is not so worthy of a buy atm? No one seems to be knocked out by it so far. no matter. Tried it, and requested a Refund. Metro Exodus felt better.
It seems to have very positive rating on steam atm. It will be out of early access soon, next month i believe.
Mediocre at best
I've very much enjoyed what I've played of it.
It's a drastically improved game then what it was when it first entered Early Access.
A while back I stopped playing, to wait for the final release. Excited to jump into it again.
Chernobylite is available in full version for PC!
Watched Gman's review and didn't look half bad, like a cross of Stalker-lite and Fallout.
FSR support added too I see, perhaps a soonish buy.
I stumbled upon this game, yesterday. Read few reviews on Steam and decided to buy, with a discount.
Only played it for a bit, but it seems to be a good game.
Great graphics, with support for DLSS and FSR.
And because it uses UE 4.26, we can enable Epic's TAA Gen5. This improves TAA, but cost 10-15% in performance.
This doesn't affect DLSS, but it affects both native FSR, making it look better.
The game ships with DLSS 188.8.131.52, and it has a lot of ghosting. But after replacing the dll with version 184.108.40.206, it looks much better.
Here is a comparison between Native + TAA Gen5, DLSS 220.127.116.11, FSR 1.0 Ultra Quality + TAA Gen5
Native + TAA Gen5
FSR 1.0 Ultra Quality + TAA Gen5
I've had this game in my wishlist for a while. Glad gmanlives says it's a good game. Can't wait to buy and play.
