A Siemens phone battery exploded when charging fortunately no one was hurt in the mishap. Just looking at the pics gives me the creeps what if it happens in my shirt pocket or worst when talking. The... More...
Well, as long as you don't put the device in any body orifices, you should be safe. That being said, I hope someone tells the manufacturer of those batteries to shove them up their a$$...
it happened to me with an old NO-Kia 7650 left it recharging and in the middle of the night i woke up thanks to a loud bang (almost gunshot like) and the phone was annihilated. scared the s*** out of me.
:eek2: Wow....scares the crap out of me....I'm going to keep a close eye on my cell phones now.....aranoid:
i don;t got a cell damn no worries for me hehe, You can purposely overcharge your battery which can also cause that
I remember hearing a fizzing from my wireless optical mouse once, I put it to my ear, and after taking it away it just exploded in my hand. Scared the life out of me lol
That phone looks like it's about 10 years old.... and from the worn paint... it's been used a lot. So the lesson is probably.... don't use a crap phone.... for a LONG time.
^^ Agreed . . . . This happend to me on an old Xbox Controller i used some rechargebles and they exploded the back and made a crater in the controller luckily i had gone for a slash when it happend so i wasnt using it
No offense, but that doesn't look like it exploded at all. Looks like it overheated and melted everything. While that sucks, using old technology like that it's no wonder it happened.
IDK, with a name like Siemens.... eww.... I still lol a bit every time I see that name. I love how we've had like 10 different exploding things in the past year involving batteries (although, mostly laptops).
