can i play this game like blade runner 1982?
Everytime i look at it it reminds me of that film
Cancel culture is just more NWO agenda.
So when's NCW Episode 3? September?
the more i see videos of CP the more ambitious it looks to me. if the story\narrative will be A level
like the Witcher series, we'r gonna have a real unique gem here.
I was super impressed with the art style and level of detail even in 2018. They've basically used the delays to remaster the game for next-gen systems. It's rare in this day and age for a game to look better closer to release than in the E3 presentation. Yes...I'm throwing shade at Ubisoft.
They're so good on twitter, have a laugh
Regarding Gamescom awards
Ray traced reflections finally shown for the first time in CP2017
i will never get what is enhanced DLSS
I need this game! I'm so ready to get lost in this world.
You're all breathtaking! You're all to excited. I'll play this in VR on my 4090 RTX G3 in late 2021. Have fun though guys.
and i not watched many vids or previews trying to keep hype level and spoiler levels low, enough other stuff to occupy atm anyway.
CP2077 is still the only game making me consider to upgrade my GPU... for RTX goodness only. I have the feeling that this game will be what shows ray tracing at it's best once it's released. And a 3090 probably lets you enjoy this at the game's best... your wallet's worst.
The RT video is so 'on point' it's giving me the upgrade bug, only thing after card for me is monitor.
*hopefully not power supply too.
**16gb 3600 c15 i'm watching you ..
Yeah, I'm saving for my upgrade too, probably the 3080, but I'd be fine with the 3070; in any case, it's going from my 1080 so I'll see the jump regardless.
I do think that Cyberpunk 2077 is turning out to be the closest we've seen to "A New Crysis" since 2007. I've never seen a game so far, maybe outside of simulators (and only very occasional ones) that seem to be pushing hardware (either for current generation or even next generation) to this degree. The original Crysis managed to do it for both the generation it came out on, and the one following it. This is the situation with Cyberpunk I'm pretty certain. I'll go ahead and assume here that even on Series X and PS5, Cyberpunk 2077 will remain the best looking game (for "next generation") for at least 2 or 3 years to come, until the other big budget games are done (which normally does take a few years into a generation's life span to start popping).
This is not even close to what Crysis was in 2007.
Actually you won't even notice these effects. All of these effects shown in that video can be made with the traditional techniques - with a better performance.
The question is how much will CDPR cheat and decrease quality of graphics when you disable RT. Just like what devs did in Metro Exodus and Control.
This is a marketing trick where they deliberately decrease quality of the traditional rasterization graphics just to sell RT to the ignorant.
Is it november yet?
Well it's not like I couldn't try it out once it's released, performance wise I think I'll see the differences still with the 2080Ti and set it to on and off to do a first hand comparison. I guess you didn't intend to call me ignorant, but the least ignorant or easily convinced thing to do is do a hands on comparison, no?
If the effects really feel like an improvement, I can still upgrade before playing the game, if not, all good.
