^^ lol guys
Of course they will :newb:
If this is gonna be like DeusEx in a big seamless city without loading screens i'm hyped. Not sure they can pull this off though, even the biggest city in Witcher3 is nowhere near a metropolis.
I'd imagine they'd use a newly created engine to run the vision they have for this.
Nah, its cool.. should be a very awesome departure from the Witcher series, both for Fans of CDPR and for CDPR themselves.
From the little we've seen it does look pretty cool. I'm easy to please though too.. I love the old time fantasy settings, as well as the futuristic sci-fi or post-apocolyptic settings as well.
Really looking forward to this!
Supposedly not until 2017. And it's also being said they will still support Witcher 3 past the "final" DLC Blood and Wine, which has a Q1 '16 release.
So it seems like there's a possibility of even more content for W3, and almost certainly a GOTY edition at some point, all while Cyberpunk is progressing through development.
Open world shooter RPG?
I'm a big Deus Ex fan but think the series has fallen a fallen off track with the latest development.
OK... well, if that's true I think I'll go ahead and set whatever the release date ends up being as the time to save paychecks till and get whatever the newest GPU is, because I am absolutely going to be running that **** on Ultra, in 4K.
I don't have enough pairs of underwear to ruin from j*zzing in.
I can't WAIT for this game. The witcher 3 was probably the best game I've played to date, and if the rumours are true, that cyberpunk 2077 is twice as big as the witcher 3 then this is great! CDPR has my vote.
Pity it's not being released this year and we will have to wait till 2017. But it should be worth it.
Is this going to be an open world game too? Not a fan of those.
I want a tight story with no stupid distractions.
WOW and WOOW!
I almost thought this will turn into brid-eye view RTS game.. saw one video once.
All is good then
Also CGI like gfx, was hopping for that too.
lol got all my hype back! :nerd:
I'm the opposite, not to much into "medieval" stuff so this will be right up my alley
CDPR has set the bar very high with W3.. hopefully they can meet the expectations that they themselves have set for this new game.
That said, I think they can do it, but I wonder how they will do it by 2017. We're already half way through 2016. Seems like that may be an aggressive timeframe, unless they'd started work on it already a couple years ago. Especially if its to be larger than W3.. not an easy task.
•Cyberpunk 2077 began development in 2012 and will not be discussed before 2017
Not played W3, but was never a huge fan of The Witcher games.
Nothing against CDPR, just not onto this genre.
Looking forward to this though.
Kind of in the same boat.
I own the first two Witcher games, but, even though I tried on multiple occasions I just can't get into them.
This game, I'm slightly interested in. But, I need to see actual gameplay. Just hearing what they "hope to do" and riding on the success of the Witcher series isn't enough to get me hyped for it.
The Witcher series wasnt a mainstream game(s) for a reason. Generally speaking It's like saying to someone who doesnt like racing games at all that they should try racing game X because it's really good. Same goes for the Witcher series, 3 to a lesser extent, but even 3 you wont like if you dont at least have an interest in RPG's.
I don't have an interest in the setting, rather than not interested in RPGs.
Same thing with movies, don't like LOTR, Game of Thrones etc..
