How is that static FidelityFX different from just resolution scaling? I tried it and it just seems like it lowers the render resolution to what you set and then upscales it. Sharpen will definitely hide it a bit, but it's also produces noticeable grain. Btw, lowering SSR quality also produces a lot of grain, similar to sharpening, even though there is no real difference in reflections and it has quite substantial effect on performance.

If that's true thanks for spoiling that for me, please remove this. I think I just have to stop coming here for a bit.

If you consider it a spoiler then why not put spoiler tags when talking about the pistol? ... i already made spoiler tags...and sorry that was spoiled for you.

You just did that. I've been in the dark for weeks. I came here looking for tech advice and not to hear spoilers and Ooo I did this and did you see that. Thanks for fixing it. ;)

Really not sure what to think about this game so far, technical issues aside. I know I've only played 118 minutes but I'm not hooked at all so far.

It took me a few hours to start getting hooked. It definitely gets better and you really start to get an attachment for your character and the choices you make. ;)

I'm not 100% sure, I have been trying everything to get it running smoothly and this is just one of the things I saw others doing.

Hope you can improve on your perf. With Cyberpunk, I now finally learned why I bought a Gsync screen a few years back... but fingers crossed, it plays mostly fluently (driving can be bothersome but not so that it makes me crash)

A few more hours in and I'm really liking this game. Trying to play as stealthy as possible, lots of reloads and quick saves, just reached level 5 and can use some of the better gear I've found.

The game runs on a 5700xt at 1440p from low 40s to mid 50s, everything on high settings (except for things listed under basic which are turned off, DOF and the other garbage), no crashes, the one minor bug I've encountered was a pack of cards I couldn't pickup.

Played a little bit with the hex edit. At first I saw no difference, but found a place with large crowds in the city, where I got dips to 50fps. If I use the hex edit, it really ads here almost 10 fps.
