Yeah... all that BS political correctness makes me wanna puke...
Let me guess.... IGN?
Me too. Outside of briefly looking at the 'scores', I so far avoided reading or watching reviews. I'll conclude things on my own as I play.
Nope. IGN gave a 9.
If it's gonna run like a hog with RT and DLSS quality @1440p on my rig i'll pick it up in March along with new GPU.
I'm actually surpised.
Gamespot and Pc Gamer are the lowballers this time
The WhatCulture review posted earlier in the thread has got my spirits up. It is kind of a feel good review and I can probably rewatch it instead of relying on therapy and prescription drugs. More directly to the game I'm preloading now and then I'll wait 'till Wednesday for the play button to unlock.
Preloading mine as I post this...
only 57-58GB in size..
Heard there's a huge patch coming in as well.....not sure if it's just a rumor, but heard it's about 40GB in size.
I've completed the preload, now waiting for release day.....and watch as my shiny new RX6800 get brought to its knees.
Last few gb will be at release... no sneaky sneaky leaks.
Pretty sure it's just going to be the missing roughly 10GB.
Steam also compresses it's download sizes.
So, you can't take the download size to mean anything in regards to the full size of the game.
It's also being rumored that they are intentionally leaving data out of the preload so people can't try and break it and get access to the game.
So... I'm not pre-loading. I'll just install it when it releases.
Got to say, the 60Gb install game feels like a throwback to a couple years back. I've been traumatized by RDR2 and CoD:Modern Warfare since then.
Good point. However, 56-57GB size won't turn into 100GB+.
I have to agree there.
I did that. For a moment i was confused when an app window popped up. The excitement!!!
Space requirement is 70GB.
PRE-LOADING! Brand new 500Gb nvme m.2 SSD drive. Night city here I come!
