CD Projekt Founders See Stunning $1 Billion Loss After Troubled Cyberpunk 2077 Release This one must have hurt...
Ppl will always be extra stupid within a game if they can. You know what costs the most development time? To make a software idiot-safe. The internet is the best beta tester ever tbh. They should've released an open beta and would have had all these bugs handed to them on a silver plate months ago. I hope CDPR learned that lesson for the next game.
Well that's just it. I really want to enjoy the game and I am, but there is no denying that it did not deliver as much as it promised.
The rest is obscured by the bugs and glitches. They are still laughing all the way to the bank. They have more than doubled their outlay to produce the game to the tune of hundreds of millions -- the pre-orders alone netted them 3/4 of a billion dollars, roughly twice what it cost to produce the game. And the share price will return. Financially they have lost nothing. Reputationally they've destroyed themselves -- but does that matter when you can literally wipe your ass with $1000 bills fifty times a day for the rest of your life and not care? The sad beauty of all of this is that CDPR is the exact corporate behemoth lampooned by the game's fiction. Which just makes everyone who bought the game that bit more of a sucker.
I'm close to finishing the game(I'm now at 90% and something like 39 hours played ) Regarding the bugs, encountered few of them like car rain, disappearing clothes or hair or weapons etc or my "V" literally exploded and only way how to fix ot has been just reload or load save And game crashes, encountered 3 crashes in total, twice my clocks stuck at 540MHz and my FPS dropped to something like 19FPS and only way how to fix that has been, reboot or restart PC and another crash during the conversation with Rogue game flatlined If I will replay it again, probably yes and if its worth it, not sure Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
Many people expected literally Jesus second coming when CDPR announced Cyberpunk 2077 and people expected it will be going in footsteps of Witcher 3 or quality of Witcher 3 Thanks, Jura
That is the gayest thing I've ever seen. And if you're gay or are offended they don't reply, I'm treating everyone equal. That's what it's all about isn't it?
It might not be quite as good as witcher 3 (which is the best game ever made imo), but it is still very good. People are blowing the bugs way out of proportion.
You can encounter most of these bugs in any elder scrolls game but those are fine its cyberpunk thats bugs them
The boxing fights are kinda broken on higher difficulty, except for the first fight. They all have massive amount of health and knock you down in two hits. That alone would require a perfect 10 min fight, but on occasion opponents hits track you through dodge, making it basically impossible.
Eh I think most of the outrage comes from console players, specifically the older generation of consoles and after seeing the footage, yeah it's a disaster :x But IMO they should've delayed another 6 months for 2 reasons: Polish up the game To NOT release it on older gen consoles and let the new consoles their stock (and owners of the new consoles) improve Honestly, this game pretty much reached the limit of the old consoles, they can't cope with it performance wise.
