    Despite the game's technical flaws, which really aren't that bad on PC now especially since the 1.05 patch. Cd Projekt's ability to tell a great story is there. I started out at a cold hearted corpo woman, but after 35+ hours in I've totally changed my ways and find my self helping other characters and trying to do the right thing in my mind. I can't give the game a verdict yet, but at it's root it really is a great RPG. I'm just taking my time with it and trying to experience as much as possible.

    I dont like 3rd party progs which modify game files and dont even say what it does, like what files are changed, etc. so i checked first, and this is what you get:

    A new file named user.ini in \Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\pc with the following content for the max boost:

    Code:
    [Developer/FeatureToggles]

    Antialiasing = True
    Bloom = True
    CharacterLightBlockers = False
    CharacterRimEnhancement = False
    CharacterSubsurfaceScattering = True
    ChromaticAberration = True
    ConstrastAdaptiveSharpening = True
    ContactShadows = True
    DepthOfField = True
    DistantFog = False
    DistantGI = False

    LocalShadows = True
    MotionBlur = False
    RainMap = True
    RuntimeTangentUpdate = False
    ScreenSpaceHeatHaze = False
    ScreenSpacePlanarReflection = False
    ScreenSpaceRain = False
    ScreenSpaceReflection = False
    ScreenSpaceUnderwater = False
    SSAO = True
    VolumetricClouds = False
    VolumetricFog = False
    Weather = True

    [Rendering/AsyncCompute]

    BuildDepthChain = False
    DynamicTexture = False
    Enable = False
    FlattenNormals = False
    LutGeneration = False
    RaytraceASBuild = False
    SSAO = False

    [Rendering/FrostedGlass]

    GlassUseMipChain = True

    [Rendering]

    RainMapProxySorting = True

    CascadeFitToWorstCase = True
    CascadeUseBackfacesAsCullingPlanes = True

    Edit: Just did a quick test and perf. is more or less the same. A few circumstences where the fps are smoother and less dropping, but not much.

    It could be different in other systems though. That other application was called placebo as well by some.

    Yes, of course. I wont try the other ones, GTX 970 here and theres a comment on YT saying he got 15-20fps more with GTX 970 and this tweak. He could have a stronger CPU tho,..So just my comparision.

    Changed Cyberpunk colors and put it on nexus mods. Just to match yellow red and blue to the game and OSD.

    When I start a game, I use the loading times as a chance to get off my chair, limber up, do some stretch exercises. This game in can keep you in your chair for a long time.

    Intro videos don't bother me in a game.
    Like it's so horrible to wait another ten second to get to a menu. Always kind of felt people blow that way out of proportion.

    As if it takes so much away from their time they have to play a game.

    Only thing I did, on Steam, was remove Cyberpunk's launcher so when I click play it goes directly into the game. And doesn't launch a different screen I have to click play on a second time.

    I on the other hand despise when they're compulsory and unskippable along with splash screens.
    Yes, you made the game, clap clap. It's nice and all but you don't need to shove it in my face every time i boot it, i already know what it is and who made it.
    Those along with "press any key to begin" screens, totally useless and something devoid of any meaning whatsoever. Originated from consoles, god knows why it serves no purpose at all. If i boot the game i want to begin as soon as possible, don't need no fancy screens to jump over to even get to main menu.

    This becomes especially tedious when trying to mod the game without any official support and you end up booting it up and shutting it down multiple times in a row, only to check one specific thing for a minute.

    It's a simple QOL thing - Mortal Shell had something similar in the game with fancy but lengthy animations when entering/exiting inventory and navigating through it, sure it's all cool and a lot of effort went into it but in the end if user ends up doing it a lot then it becomes counterproductive and bothersome from design standpoint.

    Just don't.

    I gotta say that i really dislike the fact that crowd density has been nerfed... if they were gonna nerf crowd density on existing settings, then at least give us a new ultra setting for crowd density, so we can still get that dense metropolitan crowd density. As it is now, even with crowd density on high, the city is kinda empty, and loses alot of it's atmosphere.

    Alternatively, if anyone knows how to change the game files, as to make the crowd density greater... please do share !

    Crowd density was not making any difference if you had an 8core cpu. Such a stupid thing to do.

    Its not an RTS game with many units programmed to engage other units that requires serious calculations. The crowd is not doing anything unique, just walking. Some of them in a zombie like state with the same exact walk.

    Its still more immersive having more people walking around than empty streets.
