I have looked through all the threads I could google about this and to no avail.
Have tried reinstalling drivers and catalyst many times.
Tried uninstalling the graphics card and rebooting.
Tried disabling all my security software

    Net Framework is version 3.5SP1

    Card: HD4850
OS: Vista home premium 64 bit

When I try launching CCC the process appears in task manager but CC never starts up. Then after a min or so CCC.exe disappears from task manager also.

I am currently using 9.4 drivers.

The wierd thing is that it did work once and only once a while ago.

Does it come up when you select Restart Runtime from the CCC start menu?

No luck with that either I am afraid.

Starting to think the only option is a complete reinstall, but that seems rather drastic.

if it was xp i blamed bad or missing .net install

disabling "security" software like norton isnt allways enough to make it go away

I have been using vista 32bit for about 3 days now, the drivers install just fine on my end along with CCC. But when using XP i remember a few times CC will not install, so i either uninstall them , then install them again not in safe mode, or if that did not work, i just install older version of CCC , or i would use ATT

I think I may well use ATI Tray Tools. It still annoys me that I can't get CCC working though.

Are you trying to use the CCC Skins?

Use the 9.3 CCC version, it really doesn't matter you know. What i do know, even tho i am using the 9.4 CCC, att is beats them all.
