RE5 variable benchmark 8xaa
The 6800's do have official drivers, the 10.10's.
What do you think about these 2 pictures guys?
Charlie, over at Semi Accurate, seems to find all of these benches terribly funny:
Yup, as they a load of BS.
With those poor results, I would laugh too
Ducati, is on the trick with AMD
All theese leaked benches are trash
The real performance is:
HD6970 => +/- GTX570.
Don't judge those benches its clear that something is bottlenecked on purpose..
looking at the RE5 bench and the comparison, have you noticed how smooth the chart flows with the 6970 compared to the spiky 570, looks like min fps is better to me.
HD6990(mGPU) => High-End
HD6950/70 => Performance
HD6850/70 => Mainstream
Since R600 and then the ATI/AMD serving high end with mGPU.
only 1-3 more days
here is the comparison
reddish line is AMD

I wonder what color the screen of death will be on these cards for a few months?
I sure hope they break away from that nasty brown screen.
joking i'll go away now lol
Device ID 6718 => 6950.
Aha, 6950... :banana:
Why different drivers show(or work) different number of shaders
AMD Radeon 6950 - HD 6900 Series" = ati2mtag_NICayman, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6718
AMD Radeon 6970 - HD 6900 Series " = ati2mtag_NICayman, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6719
Cayman XT / 6970:
24 clusters * 16 SIMD * VLiW4 = 1536 SPs
24 clusters * 4 TMUs = 96 TMUs
32 ROPs (upgraded compared to Evergreen)
core clock 880MHz, 5.5 Memory@256bit
Cayman PRO / 6950:
22 clusters * 16 SIMD * VLiW4 = 1408 SPs
22 clusters * 4 TMUs = 88 TMUs
core clock 800MHz, 5.0 Memory@256bit
Oh dear, how could he miss that
About what driver you talking about?
10.12 wasn't released yet...
ATIMAN has already the driver man.....
