The 2D/3D bug was fixed already in 9.5 ! But I'm glad to hear that it is not going to be re-introduced in 9.6

Odd results for Race 07 btw ^^ how could it suddenly suffer such a drop in fps ?

So all I'm wondering is where are the Legacy users? Anybody tried if the Legacy cards work with these drivers? (if it this was already answered i'm sorry but I'm at work so i can't read all the posts)

You're right..... I forgot the video options reset themselves with a driver change. I just re-ran it... looks a bit better now.

Ok, I'm glad to hear that. I'm a fan of Race 07 (& GTR Evolution) as well.

It's all I'm playing at the moment, was about to go back to the 9.5's.

The annoying stuttering in TV-mode is still there though :frown:

    Me three, stuck at 59hz.

Also this driver disables DXVA for me in mplayer classic which is a pain in the arse, had been fixed and running fine in the last two drivers.

No sign of the duel screen freeze yet either (mainly happens very randomly on booting up with two screens enabled, anyone else ever had this? i'm sure i've seen some reference to it.)

Otherwise - in gaming terms - so far great drivers, Hawx feels much smoother, The Prototype plays very very well too.

A did a clean install (I removed the old driver with device manager, I used Catalyst uninstaller and finally DriverSweeper to delete every files and entries). I installed it on Win7 7100 x64 and driver works but I can not use the Control Center. CCC.exe is running and it creates the ACE folder + xml config file when it loads up, but I can not see the window anywhere.
(I have a 8600GT on the second slot but it does not have forceware now and I disabled the legacy adapter with device manager -> 9.5-CCC worked fine with installed forceware too...)

Youre wrong and right, it was fixed for the 4870x2. But it wasnt fixed for my 4850x2+4850 setup, but this driver fixed it.

download both, extract, copy files from win7 x86/x64 patch folder into vista x86/x64 folder and overwrite, run setup.exe

fixed 2d/3d "bug" for my 3870X2

edit: though as i modify fan speeds it never bothered me anyway. and also the main reason i turned my pc on is to play a game anyway so no prob in first place really

I have a small problem, when i load my games with this driver my 2nd screen goes black and the no signal message displays. Even when i quit the game the screen stays off and i have to restart to get it to work again. I'm running vista 32 bit, the 9.5's didn't give me this particular issue.

Just noticed this problem too - i thought it was related to UltraMon though (?)
