Nah, a fast videocard is what's needed. It runs like poo on my system. Time for a 6950 toxic.

I installed these and my games seem to run fine but now anything on my desktop is "blurry" at 1920x1080. If I move down to a different resolution everything is nice and crisp. I had the 11.7's installed previously and I didn't have this problem.

I also have a 5970 and with d3doveride enabled it runs very good on ultra, MSAA off... from 70 to 120 fps...

My 3 6950's run best with these drivers though ultra settings is a bit much.

Gets chppy sometimes @ 6000x1080 res so i play it on high. I haven't played much with my 3 580's yet but last i recall they didn't great at that res either

I just upgraded from 2 x 5870's to 2 x 6870's (not much of an upgrade but I sold them for more than the 6870s cost) and my performance is much better for some reason!

not sure if my driver installation was just messed up with the 5870s but I'm running 1920x1080 all on ultra, but no MSAA. (and yes I did the game restart)

I get 60-80fps outside and 60-100fps inside on metro, all with no stutters (the 5870s stuttered like crazy even though the FPS was almost just as high)

I'm a very happy camper with my performance now! I don't get how 2 x 580s let alone 3 can't run it on ultra.

6000 series crossfire is much better than 5000 series. (altho 5870 its a little better than 6870)

my screen will still turn completely white for a split second here and there while playing on ultra preset 1080p with latest beta. Also, gpu usage still drops to 0% while running on Ultra

Does anyone else get bad stuttering when overclocking your GPU in BF3? Everything seems fine in all my other games.

Not me, you may need to raise your voltage a little, depending on how far you overclocked it.

How do I do that? I use MSI afterburner to OC and I don't see it in the options. There's a voltage option there but it's basically greyed out because it's not filled in at all.

haha nevermind... found the setting to unlock it. What's the best way to do this? Increase by increments of 5mv, 10, 20mv?
