i already use that tweaks
1920x1200 not 1080
Also take note of the Play Time between Cat drivers:
Cat 10.2 = 100.65s
I get the impression there were better sustained frame rates then with Cat 10.2.
well I picked up 250 points in vantage, not much I know but by far the biggest improvement I've seen from drivers so far.
HD vids run really sluggish on youtube for me. Probably related.
Just for the record after installing these drivers I got BSOD after 1st reboot then after all went fine.
Yeah same here lol
how do you use the profiles ?
U cant with single gpu card. Only crossfire.
Btw, these drivers are freakin awesome. I never had such good perfomance in arma 2.
How do you use the profiles with crossfire?
Vantage's GPU Score rose 8.8%, nice driver.
It doesnt support Firepro M7740 and I modify the INF, the performance looks much worse.
What's the final verdict for your 4890?
just install the app, they are not like nvidia profiles, they are just configurations to increase how the games use crossfireX (and makes games use it), not that you can set custom AA or other settings for each game
Crap, this driver just doesn´t make the foam on my cappucino like I´m used to from the previous drivers..
Thanks for the Advice man,but come on now.
Do you really believe that most people running benches testings drivers really care if there is a small difference less then 2% .
I do actually but why are you defending the drivers, its not like you had any hand in coding them as far as I am aware,if you were send me a PM and let me tell ya some things not repeatable on the forums.J/K.
Results are the same dude as far as I care.
I will though run any bench at any settings ,with any drivers,at any predetermined settings if you want,to get a more accurate reading. Then restart my machine do the same test.
After more testing I may roll back to beta 5 driver for 5970 due to the reason that GPU transcoding is faster, and gaming still pretty much the same for me.
All I can say I am one of the lucky ones, all drivers I have tested are all about the same with my setup,I have not had huge gains in games over the 10+ drivers I tested.
Any crashes or problems with a driver were always user error, pushing clocks too far, wrong voltage ETC.
OMG!!!1one really ?
It's that good ?
Now it makes me want it even more for XP
Yep, it's amazing how much of an improvement has been done.
Will test more ME2 (Third play trough!, I'm crazy :3eyes: )
Is there a way to tell what is new in the CrossFire App?
