Hey guys try this (win7)
-Remove your pagefile. Right click my computer, select Advance system settings, Advance Tab, Performance Setting Button, Advance Tab then Virtual Memory then hit the Change Button. Select the hard drive using page file (by defualt it should read System Managed). Select No page file and hit the set button. Untick Automatically manage paging file size for all drives at the top of the popup screen. Hit OK, Apply and Apply again. A popup screen may ask you to reboot. Do so.
-Now restart page file and use System Managed size, etc (just undo the previous setting from earlier).
-Device Manager, Go to Sound, Video and Game Controllers and disable ATI High Definition Audio Device if you don't use it.
Re-run your bencmark tests.
Wasn't talking to you. I was talking to Unreal2oo4 (without quoting him), etc. I didn't think my post would get buried that fast, lol!
buy why what does it do
For me there was a slight improvement performance. So, I am asking them to do the same to see if they noticed any difference. Since they've already have results using Cat 10.WIN already.
well you didnt say that in your post
thats why i was asking
No, I didn't...
how much of an improvement did you get
Not much, but you can try for yourself and see.
