Well 9.11 is stable for me, every newer driver is unstable as hell for me.

And I'd rather stability over a few bugs or graphical glitches. GTA IV just doesn't agree with 9.12 and newer.

Sorry for OT, we had this "case" in some Crysis warhead benchmark topics, reason for such a good score is simple: it did not run in selected resolution, it run at 1024x768. Check the monitor and resolution data while benchmark is running, you will see.

In the case I mention, we had 4890 @1ghz spawning 65fps avg @1680 resolution, dx10 enthusiast settings :) Turned out it was running 1024x768 instead of set 1680x1050. Reason: unknown. Reinstalling the game and FB tool helped :)

again, sorry for messing up the "clean" topic :p

these are very good drivers, matching the 10.2 BETA in performance.. the only thing ive noticed with these is ALL cut-scenes in my games now have a little stutter... gameplay is smooth as silk, but the cut-scenes are worse :3eyes:, but i can live with that for now...

GTA4 plays TERRIBLY on these drivers

but apart from that....''the man from Del-monte says YES'' :)

i think the ''profile apps'' are pre determined CFX / GFX setting profiles for different games..

dont know too much about it..:)

From my understanding, the profile apps are going to be released regularly- it's a new way for ATI to address crossfireX in games individually, without having to issue seprate "patches" for each game. (I am JUST getting back into heavy PC gaming, so pardon my basic lingo- that is what I understand them to be)

Do these drivers finally enable 120Hz on non-native resolutions with Windows XP?

    And it's like that.
    You're right.
ATi will update the profiles when needed

last time I saw something like that was in Cryostasis,
but it was a bug that was fixed with a new catalyst and a patch for the game.
But if I remember correctly it only appeared if you selected Shader Model 4 (which is absent in the games you mention)

Dont force AA through CCC and try disabling the Catalyst A.I.

ok here is what i did:

    1) i tried disabling crossfire... and this fenomenom disapeared, but once i enbable it again it returns back.

    2) disabliing catalyst AI works.. but whe disabling this option makes the second gpu dont work.

3)i tried removing all cards.. and then insert the first card and started the pc with only one GPU. and it worked no more flashing brightness..

    4) i inserted the other card sepeeratly and started the pc with only one gpu but the other ATI... and it worked fine..

5)i inserted both cards and ran crossfire.. this phenomenom returns back!

6)i uninstalled ATI drivers and installed them again.. but no go!

    7) i have used fraps to take sceen shot in-game... i noticed the shots were not corrupted! mind you this image is taken by my mobile phone...

guys... do you think there is a problem with my registry? or is it a faulty gpu?

oh, profiles only for crossfirex games?

so no boosts for us common users? I thought this driver was good because of the profiles thingy, but it seems the driver itself is the one responsible for the fps boosts

When it comes to Bad Company 2, 10.2 is better.

With 10.3pre I got nothing but crashing and freezing and it really wasnt all that smooth.

Only thing I can think of is to make sure that you are using both crossfire bridges on your 5870's and check to make sure they are seated properly.

10.3pre worked great on my card. Not a single crash or bug.

No XP 10.3 preview drivers. You'll have to wait until the official release. Sorry.
