Catalyst 10.12 is going to be HUGE

    I agree completely! But just remember to put the new one in 'Advanced' view, under preferences, 'basic view is default'.

    The basic view, categorising each little thing like they did, is to put it nicely, crap! I would have thought other companies would have learned from Microsoft's mistakes with Office 2007, wherer they made the interface simpler and easier to use :bang:

    A good interface is one that:
    - Doesn't have clutter
    - Easy to find things, quickly (unlike what we see in CCC2)
    - Have all the features you want so you don't need to install other programmes.

    The like the CCC, the CCC2 is massive when you consider just how little it actually does.

    I actually found the GUI way better than the current one.. I mean.. you have to press and click a lot just to get something simple like "AA" control.

    too many tabs and pull down menus for something that should be visible straightforward.

    theyve joined up with divx so you get codecs with ccc, theyve also got a proffesional company to script their new gui, that is all, really huge lol
