10.1 is just a standard release to fix up some bugs, but 10.2 and 10.3 will indeed have some major new features

It seems to utilise ram and cpu here more, got higher rating on both in windows experience index. Its not only gpu, but still catalyst does not show version and still not whql.

dont listem to vista/win7 sad fanboys, win xp is still the best one compatibility and gaming performance wise...

Im running windows 7 atm and i can assure you im having a heck of problems making my creative card work properly+ Performance dropped a bit, from 133fps in ut3 i now have 98...

Windows 7 is rly alot faster than windows vista, and i find it faster than windows xp aswell, but the driver signature enforcement aka you cannot install anything that its not official from ATI such as ATT is present and the only way to disable it is to hack the windows, or use custom software that makes your windows boot disable signature every time you start your pc, there are many flaws with windows 7 so i suggest you keep using win xp for at least 3-4 months.

That's a shame, seeing how most human eyes can't tell a difference past 60-70 fps

No but you can feel it, jeez people bringing this your eye cant see bull**** is so :3eyes::bang:

If you rather have 70 instead of 100 up to you, that lost 30 fps might be needed some day.

Dirt 2 is smoother and doesn't stutter in-game.

LOL it's always the same.... every month we wait a new driver release wich promise new incredible features, big performance improvement and so on.... and every month, 10 minutes after the release of the "miracle driver" someone says "it's not this release the best, it will be the next!!!!" and everyone waits the new "miracle driver" that will be just one new traditional release.

i have no problem with ati driver, they works really fine on my config from the first ati radeon 256, passing from R8500, R9800, X800, 4850, 4870x2 and now 5970..., but too much days to release 10.1 without seeing exciting features or bug fixes / performance improvements on many cards/games.

it's impossible that no amd betatester and/or no amd catalyst developer reads this pages (in this and in other forums) and no one do anything to improve the bad consideration that several users have regarding ati drivers...
