Can't remove sticker leftover from your ASRock X670E DIMM slot? They'll replace it.

I guess Asrock forgot to mention to the sticker manufacturer that they want an easily removable sticker. Maybe it was the same sticker manufacturer they get the box sealing stickers from, which precisely have to be such that you can immediately spot if someone has tried to tamper with them.

we have paper stickers at work they are used for "rejected material" in bright red-orange warning color
the point is that you are never supposed to remove them, they flag material for destruction so you really shouldn't stick them wherever and being hard to remove and leaving traces of tampering is an actual feature

Somebody from Asrock bought an espresso cup from IKEA and thought "Yeah thats what we need, a pointless label that will take hours and several fingernails to removes"

Ive maybe used all the major MOBO producers for builds over the years and i can say the 570x Taichi is a very robust board with some very useful features, three NVMe slots for starters.
I went through a phase of using Gigabyte all the time then bought a gaming laptop (1060gtx i think) and the build quality for the screen and case was very poor, not touched their stuff since.
Asus ROG laptops since then and they are great, heavy and not amazing battery life but solid made.

That kind of stickers only can get out more easily when pre-heated, but in the first why a sticker in RAM slots? An illustrated manual no longer works? This companies are reaching new levels of idiocy.

Imagine if they did this over the CPU socket lol.

Unless there's something really unusual about how Asrock wants you to install RAM, if you need a sticker to tell you how to do it, maybe you shouldn't be building the PC. This isn't a cheap entry-level board; you should know what you're getting yourself into.

    Stickers everywhere now.
Ever buy a new home appliance and spend hours trying to remove them in places they don't belong?
Plastic cover of stainless steel that has been bent under seams...you tear it and now your 2000 $ stove or Refrigerator has a forever
    green plastic ruffle sticking out.

My favorite is when you are traveling and you know you will need a utility knife at a job site.
BUT, you need a knife to open the indestructible plastic clam shell pack.

stickers on cloth that leaves residue? Really, you thought I wanted a glob of glue patch on my shirt?

    The list is endless.
I think people who make things are so removed from the end user. Heh, not my problem how you get the sticker off, the boss told me to put it on.

The irony is that in this case, A simple card would have worked. Make it the size of the slots and have the hold downs over it. Since you would need to open the hold downs to remove, you would have the same certainty of being read as a sticker (yeah, the user could pull and ignore, but that is always the case)

costly mistake on there part, i used asrock board on my current system cause most robust and cheapest, and I had no issue with it, but there board are expensive as the next brand now, might go back to asus.

for most my build i use asus, but last 2 i tried evga with x58 which pure nightmare will never touch evga mb again, and asrock well it good board but when i got it was also one more cheaper boards to buy too. probably go back to asus next build

$10 more than the Asrock on New Egg @ $289

not loving the extra M.2 w/o heatsinks, but at least they're where you can add your own

I really dont think the M2 slots should be inbetween the CPU and GPU, MB should move them out that space

    for at least $10 each.
no pcie 5.0 (not a deal breaker, but z690 have them at $160 and so does the x670 steel)
    fewer usb connections
    worse vrm
    worse onboard audio
that steel legend board is actually pretty premium.
x670-p overpriced for what it offers in comparison.
either get the steel legend or x670 aorus elite. frankly,as much as I like the aorus elite series for value, I'd go with x670 steel.
unfortunately,350eur here, while z690 aorus elite ddr4 is 230e, offering more m.2 connectors
