Just topic. I'm currently contemplating if I'm going red or green and nVIDia has put their cp purely in the ms store.
Yes AMD bundles the control panel in the installer. Unless you install the driver from Windows update.
Oh and why is that? Or is this just a regular type of comment for you when you disagree with or don't understand something? Or how about this, if you cannot answer the question just be quiet? You sound like the type of person who defends denuvo. "It's not really evil", right?
Its bundled with Nvidia as well. >> 536.40-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql\Display.Driver\NVCPL\1b860afc09e945aea8b23a02423446e6.appx
That's actually really helpful. Not by nvidia ofc but from you WL. Thanks! I tested this, just had to enable windows defender. Becomes more obvious every day ms is just trying to lock down everything and make a walled garden ala apple.
Well, as far as I can tell you still need to manually install it, even if it's available locally. I have disabled and removed the ms store though, so it's possible my sample size is .. small.
It installs automatically as it used to before they tried to fk it up. The only issue I have is telemetry which I disable after the install, or use NVSlimmer to remove it from the install package. https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/nvslimmer-nvidia-driver-slimming-utility.423072/ There are other apps to do similar.
