Can someone check if 8.763.1 is legit or not?

actually I do now know he copied whole package included few mobile IDs and that's it. This is v3.70 datecode modded.. No matter what you think. SC2 AA fixes, OpenCL correlations they are all there, if you check how the driver works.

As I have said here before I do not care who the heck would bring an functional driver, but copying driver directly from my mod topic and datecode it, include few IDs and release it as new.

Now that is just too low even for this ATIMAN, if this indeed is his driver.

Compare 8.62.5 inf file with that file ......

I bet that looks really familiar to what there is in his INF files. No ATI driver has EVER row the DXVA as I did. Do you really think I am so stupid I wouldn't recognize my own writing ?

How about Main3D?

^ This is fix on my mod on driver v10.8b5 CCC specific issue include an binary value also instead of ATI official INF files 'Main3D_DEF' as DEF was not applied correctly. No official driver has ever come with this.

Didn't TwL say that his drivers are potentially dangerous on mobility hardware? If ATIMAN actually plagiarized the whole package, doesn't that mean that some poor laptop users out there are going to get screwed?

Someone who likes giving his modded drivers the version number of the next catalyst.

With fake packaging, 2d, d3d, opengl, ... version numbers.

Nothing agains his driver mods, but he should call it what they are, not hiding it as beta drivers.

 

What's the password for this download link and does it work for the mobility releases? I've got a crossfire 5870 mobility setup and wanted to try something newer since the 10.7's cause lockup issues in bad company 2.

 

He has password protected the pack so no one can see that he loaned INFs and files from my mods ;P

The inf file in your hands is the FAKE, made by me... he he he he...

Nobody in the world has the original files from atiman web database.

 

hmm, actually now that I looked the 'real' new betas again.. Not so sure I know my mod is build upon them but I think I looked INFs and mobility chips where there.

 

I tried them and it didn't work with the mobility cards. There weren't any entries for it in the INF files and even when I added in the following:

"ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5800 Series" = ati2mtag_Manhattan, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68A0
"ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5800 Series " = ati2mtag_Manhattan, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68A1

It still didn't work.

 

Will not do as there's only M76 and M9x device settings there is no category of 'ati2mtag_Manhattan'.

I'll add it to next releases. It needs a bit more than few deviceIDs but shouldn't be a problem.

Also, you are believing that ATIMAN works for ATI and "his drivers" are superior, why the **** they don't release those "superior" drivers?
