The most I`ve seen so far at 1080P was 1361MB while playing Metro2033...(not counting GTA4)

What kinds of crazy resolutions and AA levels are you running your games at to be running out of 1.5Gb of VRAM? :3eyes:

I tested crysis it peaked out at 1.1GB, Metro 2033 peaked at 1.24GB Batman AA 1.2GB. All with maxed settings and physx on when applicable @ 1920x1080.

Still you have an average of 26fps and a minimum fps of 10fps not 30+ fps
30+ fps means that the minimum frame is ,or above 30 fps which isn't the case .So yes your info is not accurate

i wasnt trying to support the 30+fps... and thank you for implying that im retarded, i know what 30+ fps means.... i was simply letting the op know the facts about that game.

If you have problems with the recommendations people give...fine, but don't make yourself look like an idiot. Nobody in this thread is recommending SLI, much less quad SLI....but, even a GTX580 isn't going to "max everything all the way up to 2560x1600".... There are enough trolls on this forum and not enough room for another...

I'm sorry if i let you think that i've implied anything that wasn't my intention .
BTW ,i did run the game bench ho man this game is a nightmare ! Even without physx i did get a min 10fps ,meh it is a exception tough and a very bad optimized game !

    no worries

yeah its a pretty heavy benchmark, ive played the game start to finish and most of the time its not that intense, it was pretty playable.

a single GTX 580 will play almost every today game in 1920x1080 with maxed or nearly maxed settings.... however you may get some slowdowns with metro2033 with a single card... 30 fps is the minimum for enjoyment... 25 fps is a slideshow.. and also the GTX 580 is the fastest single card out their... however if you don't keep single card into account , the HD5970 beats it in some scenarios...

but IMO the HD5970 should be avoided due to its poor tessellation performance and driver issues..

All multi-GPU solutions are going to have some issues....ATI drivers just seem to be a bit more sensitive to system configurations than nVidia's.
