You need low level driver to do that in ATT? Thats weird...

Yes. Because of compatible issue when you are not administrator or when you in 64 bit OS.

Well, compatibility for 64bit clearly sucks if it's not working at all...

Any chance to get the tweaks so i can enter them manually in registry?

I've tested the talon_262's tutorial and I don't understand the point five on Install Test Certificate English.nfo

I already run ATT but the message "Test mode" appears in the corners of the screen on desktop. When i execute the command bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING OFF and after reboot, I can't run ATT again.

So, I miss the point 5 on tutorial. Where I should overwrite the original driver?

Damn I was so happy yesterday that ATT for 4800 series has been released, just to realise that it doesn't work under vista 64...isn't there any way to make it work permanently without having to hit F8 each time or doing stunts each time to get it going???This is ridiculous...

Am crossing my fingers for that one day ATT will come with signed drivers, in one way or another. I know we got readydriver plus, but there is something about it that i think is a bit fishy...

I'm sitting in TESTMODE since the day of SP1 release. And I can say there are difference between testmode and normal mode. Except of test mode text in corners of desktop. But I don't see desktop 99% of times when working :)

At the Moment i use Atsiv.exe to load ATT Driver , odr to start Rmclock/ RivaTuner etc.
Works perfect. I have a simple .bat in my Autostart Folder to load the ATT Driver via Atsic at Vistax64 Startup.

I know Atsiv should be disabled by MS. Bit it works 100% for all People i know.
    I use Vistax64 Sp1 with latest Updates

    About the Test Mode :
So far i can Remember ATTs Driver works as soon Vista is running in TestMode.
Signing the Driver was not necesarry?!
I was running Vista test Mode over a few Month and it was always stable. Test Mode should be no Problem and no Reason for any kind of Problems
Also you can disable the TestMode Watermark on Desktop

Sadly ReadyDriver+ wont work for me, so i still use Atsiv:)

I also migrated this way because ready driver does not use any resources. It's not a TSR program, it simply runs, auto controls the F8 and auto selects disable driver enforcement for you then terminates. I went this way because my server demands enough with all the other stuff on it. The down side is that you don't know what else could have been written in that code, and it takes about 4-5 more seconds to boot. It's just another option out of three I know of now.

Thanks talon_262 for this workaround and thanks Ray for this fantastic Ati Tool!!
But i think in testmode any driver, virus, trojaner can be installed without my notice. Or?

atsiv 1.01 doesnt work for me. The system starts not correctly.
Cant check atsiv 1.02, doesnt find any d/l place.
The F8 and RD+ is not an option for me.

    sorry for my terrible english..

No if you have UAC enabled. Test mode only allow to install low level driver with custom signature.

And it will not. Stupid guyz in Microsoft disabled this application.
