I finally got my hands on the U.S version of Call of Juarez. I found it interesting that it comes in both DX10 for Vista and DX9 in XP all in one disk.

I guess this is why the U.S version got delayed a whole year.

I'm guessing the DX10 version will run considerably slower than the DX9 version...

its a driver issue eclap, not DX 10. why u think 158.43 had issue with DX 10 of COH and 158.45 fix that.

is 48fps crap, i dont think so lol. on console 30fps run smooth as butter. COH run smooth in the game.

unless your running at an incredibly low res you aint pullin 48fps , my rig pulls just under 40

but agree with saying it dont run crap , seems fine on my rig . Now time for some CoJ DX10 gameplay pics

if ur getting 48 fps ur playing at a low res or with lower settings, both of which make dx 10 useless as your degrading 1 part of the graphics to increase another. also the min framerate is incredibly low(sub 20 fps) regardless of settings.

I found it at BestBuy. I don't have Vista so no DX10. It runs very nice in DX9 though.

The dx9 demo looked cheap to me, at least in town...and that was with eye candy cranked at 1680x1050.

Now, the dx10 bench looks awesome! But...it does take a performance hit. But again, this is a dx9 game with a dx10 patch etc, not a native dx10 coded game. Sheesh...they are taking their sweet a** time with getting dx10 games out.

I got my copy today at BestBuy in hopes I'd have it installed and ready for when the DX10 patch comes about, but was a nice surprise to see it already set up for DX10 out of the box. Unfortunately I have to go to sleep now so I'm not even going to fire it up till the morning. Will definately be something far more talked about when word gets around though (good or bad)

if u talking about COH DX 10 then this is my setting. http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/7811/relic00001pf8.jpg http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/7581/relic00003vq8.jpg http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/285/relic00004uj8.jpg

look at vista to tell u the date and time when i took the pics. as for COJ, i get 28fps around there in the demo DX 10 thing. and if u was not talking about COH, then u did't read my post when i said COH i get last time 38fps with multisample.

Update i use Burn in mode and put it on 4 % faster on FSB and i got 54fps in COH. back to topic.
