Does anyone know why Anti-Lag doesn't work for MW on AMD cards? There is no beep when I start the game like with other games.

 

The beep was removed recently in one of the new drivers.
If you activate it manually with the keyboard shortcut you will hear the beep.

 

ok this game should be called: camp of duty modern warfare....seriously, the amount of campers is atrocious

 

Just installed a 1070 gigabyte on my i7 6700k system, however i did see a jump in performance on cod modern warfare , the usual fps is 105 , goes to 130s , i can still see dips of of fps into 85 90 when many explosions happen, and on picadilly map the fps is always 95-90, my cpu is stock clock at 4.0...I have 16gb ram,
Even the 1080 was having dips into 110 and 105
The only card that is maintaining fps above 120 or 130 is the gtx 1660ti .
i think this game is power hungry but it s not justifiable , as frostbite is a better and has destructible environments while here it s prebaked stuff..so im guessing there s no way around this as this is how the engine is, it s just power hungry

Ok another rant about this game:
It cannot be that a player with a controller can have his kills as easy as playing with a mb k setup...it doesnt make any friggin sense to see someone in tdm having 10 kills ahead with a controller

 

If that's all they've played with, and practiced on... yeah, it does.

I've seen players with gamepads run circles around mouse/keyboard players.
It's not always about which controller is "technically" better, but about which player is better with which one.

 

Yes it does. They did a great job the way they implemented crossplay. It depends on the situation which player has the upper hand in the end and I actually enjoy it.

The hardware this game needs is justified and unjustified at the same time. The graphics are different, for example I think textures and lighting are much nicer than say in Battlefield. Geometry & physics are much more advanced there.
This game offers so much though and always feels so "connected" that, to me, it's the answer to the high demand. It's still much lighter on the CPU than Battlefield, for example.

By the way, the easiest way to overclock the CPU is to read around one of the typical overclocking forums. Usually, they have great guides for anyone new to this (or people who have no experience with current stuff or a specific mainboard).

You assume I'm talking about PS4 controller or this game specifically.
Sorry, but you need to accept... there are players out there on gamepads that are better then players with mouse+keyboard.

I don't use a gamepad because it's not comfortable.
I also don't play against other people in any form of MP... because I don't care if I'm better then anyone else.
I play games to relax. Being better or winning a match... means absolutely nothing to me.

 

I do respect ur opinion about not playing mp, the beauty of cod is racking those killstreak and training ur reflex, cod is bought not for the singleplayer, but for the mp..but i respect u only like to play singleplayer

 

I buy all games just for the single player.
Including CoD titles. Despite the popular opinion on them, there are actually a lot of solid and enjoyable campaigns. With the newest Modern Warfare being a prime example, it is a fantastic campaign.

 

It's not even about killstreaks really. To me it's about winning the game and even more, having fun doing so I only play objective-based modes and I thoroughly enjoy this game.

 

I like gun fight and search and destroy,it s more like cs go with slower gameplay which is great

Season 2 has kicked off.

 

70GB Download, but they relaxed lots of thing so the overall size stays the same.

I must even admit that I got the season pass again... still love this game!
