I agree on the look, it looks great but not as good as a battleifeld map, there's LOD popping, barely any tesselation on ground?

But in the same time, i feel the gunplay in this game, the gun feeling, is the best i've ever had in a FPS game ever, it's phenomenal, and i'm a battlefield player since forever, never been a COD guy (bought only 2 of them)

I haven't played CoD in years but the 32vs32 map felt really limited compared to Battlefield. I didn't see any destruction going on. And I was even disappointed that all later BF games had less destruction than BC2.

Removing the depth of field gets rid of the dithering effect on the weapons which helps a lot.

Loving the game, But the damage drop off over range is a piss take

It runs ok, Im playing it DSR'd, but I have a technical question..

Anybody else see this pixelated spots on weapons and reflections? It's as if it was using RTX, but very noisy reflection filter..

weapon dof.. looks v.bad, puddle pixels
    [IMG] [IMG]

    puddle pixelation at certain angles
    [IMG] [IMG]

and in main menu on gun model

    @Party Poison
where can I disable weapon DOF? I only saw weapon and world blur. :)

No flow to the ground wars map what so ever just a big 64 player TDM it made me appreciate BFV even though that game has enough issues of its own.

funny enough I have enjoyed some of the smaller modes though even though the only reason I looked into this cod was the bigger mode.

I mostly fixed it by messing with the "filmic" option in the AA bit.

Ground war took a lot of ideas from Battlefield but added the much better CoD gunplay. I really liked this a lot, the movement and gun control is just a totally different animal (for whatever reason).
I really appreciate the smaller modes like the comeback of headquarters or the new variant of S&D with revives. Great fun.

PS: I had some serious stuttering after a while, could this be a memory issue?

Go to your documents, modern warfare, players2 and open config.cfg with any text editor.

    Look for this: setcl 1092995319

Set it from "1" to "0".

Gets rid of that pixelated bug

Imo the performance is HORRIBLE for the visuals this game produces...

Battlefield has its flaws, but it's deffo better than this.

I noticed that the game defaults the resolution scaling to less than 100%, which should be native

If that was my problem, then the performance wouldn't have been horrible, now would it...

But the fact that they even set it to less than 100% scaling as default tells you how bad the performance of this game is... and it isn't exactly a good looking game.

It defaults at 30% because its the beta. A lot of GFX options are still not in the menu that were in the gamescom build.

I thought it runs quite well

I am running the game at 1440p all low / off settings, getting 50 ish fps... for the terribad visuals, i consider that very very very bad performance.

Other than that, i find the gameplay retarded, but then again, i am probably not their primary customer group (aka twitch kiddies).

Just a note : the performance is on the 64 player mode - the only thing i was remotely interested in in regards to this game.

They could redeem it somewhat by including mgpu support, seeing as it's dx12 only, but fat chance of that happening... nvidia only wants "raytracing" support, and force sli users to upgrade their gpus to the "great value" 2000 series...

There is not a massive leap between a 1080 and a 1080ti. If a 1080ti can do 80fps ultra then you should be able to get more than 50fps with all low.

There is a 30-40% performance gap. And apparently the settings barely make a difference fps wise - they just make the game uglier.

Settings make a nice difference, I can gain nearly 80fps lowering settings on ground war. I'd ask if you are being cpu bottlenecked as it can be cpu heavy.

But you seem to just be content with being overtly negative so i'm just gonna leave it.
