Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (2023)

Some playthrough videos are around 3hours 40mins but that's when you rush through it like in DMZ constantly under fire.

Maybe it's about 5-6 hours if you try to stealth it.

 

I think they all were that “short”. And it’s a different experience.
Prefer the “veteran” mode, more like the raids, and that usually takes a good while to accomplish. Especially if you’re also going for the achievements as an additional challenge.
The first game had a great campaign, might replay that one day.

 

I wish we would have a HQ remake of COD4 campaign with MW2019's engine and models.

And Gaz still cracks me up.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, I played singleplayer COD (or was it Battlefield) where you were in the slums of Rio or something
Playing that on the hardest level with just a shotgun was an all-time gaming high for me. Morre of that sh_t!

That was wild. But they had remakes already? Not exactly the newest engine but still not bad.
And back then I played the CoD4 campaign in and out, anyone remember the “arcade” mode?

Might have to find that game for free somewhere, do some graphic mods and replay it on the toughest level.

I am up for this CODMW3 (2023) I have not played a cod game since the one with soap in?
TBH I get so confused by the titles of theses games that I haven't got a clue what goes on.
Not into multi on line player a good campaign is what I like.

 

For the campaign you don't have to buy it though.

 

How weird is that. Can you elaborate how I can get the campaign mode.

 

He means its not worth paying 70 bucks for 4 hours of entertainment i guess.

 

I'm installing Cold War for the first time... going to play that campaign.

I'm interested in MW3's campaign. And I know reviews say it's "awful"..... but, I'd rather play it myself and make up my own mind.
But, I'll wait. While Activision do suck at sale prices on their games, it will still go on sale at some point.

I've seen very conflicting things...
Some reviews say roughly 30% of the campaign is the open setting maps, while others "The whole game is this open map crap"..

When it comes to Call of Duty, I've long stopped listening to the masses when it comes to if the campaign is good or not.
So many "fans" told me WWII sucked, told me Infinite Warfare was terrible...
Those are two of my favorites.

Hell, I've had CoD fans tell me the 2019 MW is terrible and "ruins the series". And personally, it's one of the best entries in the series.

Ah, so its like the old Battlefront 2 with the 5 hours campaign.
I got that free with epic.
That's another franchise that cannot name its games properly.
I dont suppose epic will be giving this one away free in the next 3 years.

For me, Modern Warfare 2019 and MW 2 2022 ARE the best. I liked how seamlessly the FEEL transition was from cutscene to actually taking control of your character in the 1st person in both MW and MW 2. I thought MW 3 would carry on with the same tradition.... but boyos was I wrong. Had they delivered the same Recipe of both MW 2019, and MW 2 2022...... it would have been Heaven for me. But that winning Recipe I guess was lost with those 2 stellar incomparison sp Campaigns. Aaaah well.

I could possibly stomach/play the Campaign if..... IF they totally removed the Open Combat missions.. Yeah.... for me they suck THAT bad. ;p

I reinstalled MW 3 for the 3rd time now. Literally forcing myself to complete this uhhhhh...... sp Campaign as it were. I paid alot of chingo JUST for this single player monstrosity. It is.... what it is, as they say. Aaaah well.

 

Really? I mean, the first MW3 was crap already.

 

The change in lead development studio.

MW 2019 was Infinity Ward's baby, and MW2.. they were lead on.
Other studios helped, but IW was the driving force behind it.

MW3, lead developer was Sledgehammer Games.

 

I probably play for about an hour a day before bed, I'm happy that it all works and I shoot a few people, sometimes more than they shoot me, sometimes not. It's all good at the end of the day, I'm so old I though Roland's Rat Race was as good as it got

 

I got to play it early and the gun sounds are quiter then my footsteps. Ill try my headset later to see if it fixes it.
