Having just played a few hours on Warzone 2 & MW2 Ground War I'm seeing identical performance for both. I even tested with my older rig which has an i7 8700 & 2070S.

Maybe 2080s is a minimum but has same performance as the 3060ti, so there u go, 2070 will barely manage to stay around 125 fps in battle royale.mode, i ve tried so many settings with my 2060, the only way to keep 120 fps all the time is a mixture of high and low.settings and dlss on performance, anything else, fps will.drop below 120

i am getting weird artifacts with dlss in warzone 2, distant trees look weird and then turn into shape, any way to fix this?

The game looks stunning though, the only problem may be that large parts of these details get lost due to the fast pace.

Yesterday I read something about a new variant of "variable rate shading" they're using to further enhance the graphical fidelity in this title and I'm rather sure this is the reason why I dislike DLSS so much, loving it in all prior CoD games that had it.
Personally, I found a graphically stunning setting but performance-wise, I'm back to where I was with my 1080 in MW2019.

The trees in the distance looked awful even in the beta. I doubt it's anything the user can do on their end. My guess is since they decided to use an old graphics engine they had to boost performance somehow so they chose to lower the rendering distance of tree's/foliage.

Today’s patch includes fixes for PC crashes so here’s hoping that actually worked.

... yeah so that was a f***ing lie, still crashing. *sigh*

[EDIT] and crashed again as soon as I reloaded into a game... they actually made it worse somehow

Is this just me or is the performance with the newest Nvidia driver down by quite some margin?
Yesterday I thought my game was stuttering in a weird way, today I updated the driver.

Currently I'm not sure what happened but I lost at least 20% of performance.

In a vein effort to try and fix my crashing I also installed the latest driver and it did seem to perform worse... that is until I crashed again after which I just gave up.

I'll need to switch drivers around again. Right now, with the newest driver, DLSS looks better than before & better than CAS. But it's not nearly as clear & sharp as the picture was with CAS before, at least not in motion ;)

Driver wont effect dlss unless the game changes the dlss version in an update

I'm playing maxed out at 4k and I still notice some trees (not all) in the distance (~50 ft away) that look like they're straight out of minecraft.

When I set the FOV to the lowest setting the trees in the distance look better (as they appear closer) compared to when the FOV is set to the highest (as they appear further away).

True, but the driver also had several DLSS related changes/improvements according to the changelog? There was a small game update, but then that shouldn't have impacted my CAS picture quality, should it?
I'll just do a quick A/B test so see what's up.
