Anyone played the SP Campaign yet? Any good? I play SP only because I enjoy playing with myself......eh, scratch that, by myself.

 

Cas for.me.doesn t work or give the performance of dlss 2.0, fps is lower with cas

 

Well of course, because it's native resolution instead of 66% max. But the graphics are much nicer, no?

 

CAS = contrast adaptive sharpening

it is not an upscaler in anyway. DLSS and FSR are upscalers and will give you a performance uplift. I am sure FSR uses some form of CAS as its final pass but I could be wrong on that part.

 

Ok finally had a proper MP session today, been playing solo queue since about 10am so that's a good 6hr stint and only had 1 crash so looks like the issue for me has been tamed somewhat.

Hit the Hardcore... oh sorry, "Tier 1" ( whatever the hell that's supposed to mean ) playlist today and it had such a contrast of players, it was always a team of 2 or 3 Lil'Timmy's sitting in a corner with a shotty + 2 or 3 Twitch sweats in their white CDL skins. I'm not exactly the greatest player but I took great pleasure in killing both types multiple times.

The Magnum sucks btw or I'm not using it right but maxed it out and completed all 4 camo challenges, now I just need to gold that mofo.

The new BAS-P SMG is pretty sweet with a 50 round barrel so golded that today.

Lots have been said about the UI but I can't help but repeat the gripes:

- What in the heck is this sidescrolling netflix mobile crap!? I use the mousewheel to scroll through camos and it jumps a million categories, have to drag and slide using the slider at the bottom to make any sense of it.
- Typos! seriously people, stay in school or use a spell checker at the very least! I know my spelling isn't perfect but I'm not charging people 80 quid to read this post!
- Overlapping... ( just, why ? )
- Do I still have time left on my XP token ? is it even on ?... who knows!
- When I complete a calling card challenge I get a post-game notification to say that I've done it, except it says "Stickerbook challenge", for a good while I kept pondering what in the actual hell is a stickerbook challenge until it dawned to me. Why call it a "Stickerbook challenge" when the word stickerbook isn't being mentioned anywhere else ? no consistency. Why not just call it "Calling Card Challenge" ?... also when you get the pop-up the icon looks all wonky and stretched at 1080p. Can't speak for other resolutions.

Either the UI was outsourced to some totally clueless company or they hired some kids straight out of college who spent too much time on their phones and talked a good game in their job interviews.

 

To add to the UI problems, everyone in every pregame lobby is carrying the same kit as mine. Same guns, camo, etc.

 

I can live with dlss for now as i want my fps to be constant 120 all the time, until i getmyself a 4060 when it comes

Yes, but for example I tried DMZ yesterday with some friends. My screen is right in front of my nose and I'm not running my FOV super-high. I still had issues seeing some of the guys shooting at us.
With DLSS, they're invisibly blurry without a scope any further than you could throw a rock. I'm old, I need to pick any advantage I can get

 

No, what I’m talking about is a bug. If I have a gold RAAL with a secondary launcher as my main loadout every single person in the lobby will be holding a gold RAAL with a launcher on their back.

 

Great game. But the server lagg destroy the feeling..

The kind of lag I keep seeing is the kind where immediately as someone rounds a corner you shoot them center mass and get maybe 1 hit marker off and then you’re dead. Then in the killcam you can see that they had enough time to empty a whole clip into you. This is on a GSync monitor with Nvidia Reflex + Boost on and Vsync off.

 

Guys please help me to get m13b in dmz.
I tried with randoms and solo with no success.
Can someone friend with me to help each other to get that weapon please?

Yeah so that nonsense folder moving crash “fix” didn’t fix anything at all.

 

do u think this is even fun to watch? a game engine that is older than my sister, and performance is atrocious without using dlss... meh
