Love the game but everytiime i boot, i get update requires restart

 

I may be in the minority but I really like the nee weapon unlocking system as it encourages you to experiment with different weapons.

 

Less encourages and more forces.

I'm trying to do smg camos, I have to level up 4 different AK platforms before I can even get the 9mm.

I like the new platform system, but the unlock walls are a bit awkward. The UI REALLY does not help.

 

Anyone else getting random frame spikes? It's driving me crazy. It doesn't matter what the settings are.

V-Sync + G-Sync + FPS capped to 100 with everything on low settings should = the smoothest experience ever, but it's not.

I've tried G-Sync without V-Sync or an FPS cap, disabling core parking, windows power management performance, NVCP set to maximum performance...

 

im averaging 130 fps on ultra settings with my 3080 except for the 1 % low but everything seems smooth when i play.

 

Resolution? At 100% resolution scale, the benchmark shows me way lower numbers for my 3080.

Try disabling "threaded optimization" in the driver. It never did me favors in CoD.

Yes, the UI is cruel but I like the idea too. A friend of mine used nothing but a single SMG both in MW2019 and in Vanguard. That's not what the system or the game was made for

 

i got the g7 240 hertz so its 1440p. i really like this monitor i dont notice any lag.

 

I'm on 1440p also, but widescreen. You're seeing these framerates ingame or in the built-in benchmark?

 

yeah so I use msi afterburner to see the frames. I haven’t tested the benchmark yet but it drops to 100-110 when it gets serious.

 

@Radical_53 Thanks, disabling threaded optimizations helped quite a bit, but it's not entirely gone.

 

i don t think this is good for a card like that , u didnt mention what resolution ur playing on first

 

I'll give you that if you prefer a certain weapon type. As for the UI... Holy heck! not everything needs to be a Netflix style sidescroller! Just goes to show what modern UI designers grew up with. "Hey ya'll, Netflix makes millions, that must mean it's because of their awesome UI, lets add the same to a video game and people will love it because its familiar! just like in Netflix!!!"... damn freaks

 

well i game at 1440p 240 hertz max settings. minimum frames I get is 90-100 depending on the map so im ok with that on ultra.

 

3 guns gold so far. game runs very smoothly I just get a random millisecond hitch that seems to be random.

Sometimes its 2 or 3 times a match or wont happen at all for ages.

 

I tried the new Nvidia driver, had texture flickering... shader optimization kept freezing at 54%... crashes.
Rolled back to 522.25...

All issues gone. And the game plays great.

 

After I enabled HAGS my stuttering went away. I hope it's not a fluke. Before it would stutter just about every other minute which was rage inducing. I was about to just say f-ck it and uninstall the game for good, LOL.

Yeah this is the first game I've played where HAGS seems to have sn effect. I just enabled it too after my crashing came back with a vengeance. Game seems more stable now and I swear I got a boost in performance as I'm now hovering at 120fps and only rarely dipping under 100.

[EDIT] Nah, still crashing. They better get their skates on in fixing this because it's starting to get really old really fast!

this happened to me today. the suppression mine effect stayed on even after I respawned. absolute aids lol

 

Same for me, game was flashing and constantly crashing in the campaign or MP. Decided to roll back as well to the same driver. Been problem free since.

 

anyone having low gpu utilization? mine is hovering 70-95%
