I didnt come up with the headline btw...
The Telegraph (London) via Stuff.co.nz
No wonder every call of duty is the same crap.
The devs have Alzheimer for doing the same thing for so long!
Will, i doubt it can be true as everyone is well aware that the last cod is similar to the latest
Id be interested to know what sort of folks the tested. Cod does have the tendency to attract the backwards cap, poloshirt wearing budlight drinking sort and from my experience, they dont tend to have all that much going on up stairs anyway.
gonna go ahead and nitpick, clearly a joke piece from boobs, but this is shoddy, not as if i expect much from stuff magazine (who?)
"according to new research" link?
"Scientists say" who?
"Previous studies" where?
"they tested 26 players and 33 non players " not a real sample size to publish news on but oh wells, sure it'll make the ign gamespot round
from the same telegraph that brought us this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/sci...uty-increases-risk-of-Alzheimers-disease.html
Yah exactly, science is meant to be open and repeatable, not based on hearsay like this report
Yeah that stuff website is borderline The Onion. Stuff's a great read if you want to start your day off wondering why you even bothered to get out of bed.
They never link actual studies or the scientists, you pretty much need to google it or wait for someone in the comments section to post more info. Then theres the fact that majority of their articles are screenshots of Facebook/twitter pages and they get a large chunk of their news from reddit and imgur.
Hate scare news like this. How do the gullible who fall for this manage to go outside, let alone cross the road.
Well the depression part is true, lol I felt it few times when there was so many trolling campers/proners/jumpers.. Might want to add anger
I kept needing to scroll back to the top to remember what the topic is.:3eyes:
Quality **** news right there.
In other desperate news, PC games makes your penis smaller!?
Midway through the thread, I forgot what I was reading so I.. Ummm... Huh?
Haha, imagine that.
How about porn watching makes your penis bigger?
Seriously, I could look at this ALL day:
IMG REMOVED > not allowed sorry.
Darn it, now I have to choose between a small penis or the light outside...
Well, there can be made simple correlation. Take few thousands of patients with early symptoms and ask them if they played CoD and how much.
Then compare with number of them who are not using computer or are not using it for gaming.
My personal look at this is that CoD does not cause serious mental diseases but attracts people in different stages of such mental illnesses.
Cod is the common name for the genus Gadus of demersal fishes, belonging to the family Gadidae. Cod is also used as part of the common name for a number of other fish species,
Of course it produces alzheimer... every gamer wants to forget that it ever existed
I thought fish was supposed to be good for the memory and the brain overal, plus I thought fish was supposed to be good for the memory and the brain overal.
Oh and what's CoD?
I'll bet it correlates 1:1 with those who smoke too much weed and consume mass amounts of Cheetos.
Cod is bad for the brain? Aren't they always saying we should have more omega-3 dha?
No, there is no evidence for a link between video games and Alzheimer’s disease
