    Who buys physical editions this decade? Only collector editions and unique ones worth it. I never bought anything that I can buy it in its digital form. :eek:

    i know loads of guys with consoles that do, I'm not bothered with it but they like having the stuff on shelves. Collections I suppose.


    I usually buy ps4 exclusives in physically but thats because i know ill sell it as soon as I'm done.

    I'm pretty sure it's just Activision doing this, considering Microsoft for 2 years will have their studio's games on both the One and Series X but only needing to buy one version of it(Play anywhere). Consoles are pretty open to develop for, but in my opinion both Sony and Microsoft need to put some rules in place for situations like this. I know it's only $10 to get a copy that supports old and new, but it still seems like a greed move to me.

    Cross generation cross play, so is this just PS4 to PS5 and One to Series X? Or will there be full crossplay across all platforms for their general MP?

    Not gonna preorder and wait for reviews. 4 new games for the last quarter of 2020 are already on my list so that's more that i can handle anyway ;)

    the multiplayer details and gameplay looks good so far, besides sbmm, not sure yet if to pre order to get two days more on the pc beta, never pre ordered anything hah

    SBMM is great. Much better than "lag compensation" to even out the field.

    The era they picked is great and the first BO still has to be my favorite CoD game, yet I'm not too thrilled about this new iteration.
    I liked the first MW but I love the new one. They added some great stuff and did just the right changes to the games' pace (at first).
    Some of these changes won't be there in BO:CW and I'll certainly miss them.

    That'll be the reason I'll be buying it too. I just love the era and the Treyarch games for that very reason.
    But so far, at least, I'm planning on sticking to MW for the multiplayer part.

    The one does not correlate with the other, it does not replace lag compensation.

    The "S" stands for skill, duh, silly post.

    I know. And I enjoy playing against people on my „skill level“ a lot more than playing against noobs or pros on a random basis.

    The vanilla maps in MW were refreshing and especially great to play the first time after launch. Once the tryhards did their thing, it got far worse.

    Reminds me of glorious days of modding in Operation Flashpoint around 2001. Man those were the days.
