I'm not sure I like battle royale, but the formula sounds like fun to me.

 

I've watched some of it but like previous guys say, isn't it simply PUBG with CoD guns? I don't see anything new in that. Wasn't there supposed to be a new twist to it? Afaik BFV Battle Royal has just that with the squads, vehicles and stuff.

 

What’s new about squads and vehicles? Same thing.

 

I liked what i saw, i'm going to play it. Looks to me like a much better version of PUBG.

Tried launching the game three times but twice got "Fatal Error" with a code which not only reset my nV driver but also disabled it. I also got a "Memory could not be read" error

Definitely seems to be one of the more divisive CoD titles.
Some love it, some absolutely hate it. I know that seems par the course for the series... but, the line between to the two seems a bit more defined this time around.

 

Very brave decision to ditch singleplayer this time around. I guess Activision really want a piece of that BR Pie!

 

I hate it with a passion. They killed cod as we know it. Won't touch Cod or BF for that matter anymore.

 

This is different than Fortnite (mind you, I LOVE Fortnite) and PUBG. Both Fortnite and PUBG are primarily third person games, so you can use techniques like "3P'ing" (Third-personing -- looking over the edge or around the corner without pointing your head out; basically using camera rotation to see what's around the corner or over), which some people consider unfair -- debatable.

CoD's Battle Royale mode (aka Blackout) is strictly first person mode, and that make things extremely tactical and strategic; you have to be extra careful with all your moves, and some people love that. You only have to watch all the streams to see how different this is from the other two.

I am not going to give up Fortnite for this game entirely because let's face it, Fortnite has, by far, the most unique Battle Royale mode due to its building/destruction, costumes, dances, challenges, and super fun progression system. I will play blackout whenever I am burned out from Fortnite, so it's going to be a back and forth thing, and I think that applies to just about every Fortnite and PUBG fan.

I don't know if "brave" is really the right word for it.
Personally, I would say it was a very foolish decision. Just trying to jump on the current bandwagon so they could stand up and yell "We gots BR also!!"

And, an even more so questionable decision, since Activision has already stated that the next CoD will feature a traditional single player campaign.
