Call of Duty Black Ops 2?

I don't really mind that but the limited playlists really tick me off. So far there are only 4 hardcore playlists as far as I know. That's not going to cut it.

 

i love bf3 alot. i love COD series too.

But i used to be kicked and banned by sht admins in BF3 and Bf2 at past because i play too good or i jump to jet or chopper before the admin.

no admins = fun

and matchmaking works good even at day 1.

 

No admins is no fun when hackers or tkers just sit and laugh at the rest of you, does bo2 have a voting system? mind you that can be abused just as much, I've been voted off games for just doing good


IMO finding a good server with good admins and becoming a regular on that server is the best option.

Not really. Lately I have been siding with match making more over server browser. With server browsers players are scattered all over the place and only FEW servers get decent amount of players playing in them. Admit it or not, but match making is actually better because you will always be put in servers that actually have players playing in them.

 

Huum, with a server browser, you just choose different settings: not empty, not filled, by ping, my maps, etc and you let the browser show you the server who are meeting the criteria.

I dont say one is better of the other, both should be there anyway.

 

Runs great at win8 and my old quad yorkfield, but that's to be expected.

In first mission i hoover ~ 80-110fps avg @ 1600x1200 (4xaa., rest max, no fxaa, gpu oc at 850mhz), i saw 310.54 is even faster, i played with 306.97.


Although it doesnt look that spectacular in dx11.. Still ok game though.

 

imo it looks horrific, no way is this a next-gen engine, guess we'll wait till cash cow 3.

 

omg that looks so bad. Its just as bad as it is on the consoles.

Call of Duty World at War has better textures! if you don't believe me and have the game take a look....

 

I own it too and kinda at certain angles. Same with this BO2, its ok at certain angles, but on screens its average at best

 

Haven't checked yet but I've heard that the config files are encrypted.

 

No hacker admins, no chat spam, no absurd rules like crouch only, no kicking for being better, no abusing of the voting system .. hell I love this joke and don't miss even the server browser! Only folks in South East Asia, Thailand and Singapore in particular, seem to be having trouble getting good pings.

 

Not only them. Maybe I should've picked a playlist with more people in it but the headquarters matches I had were quite bad (connection interrupted all the time). Maybe just a fluke, will try again later.

 

I played HQ through the Combat Training with other players, didn't have a ping problem despite being in the middle east and everyone else from Europe. Must've been a problem server side, all the matches I've played except one Nuketown CTF were problem free.

 

Yeah its encrypted. I tried to see AF values, but no luck..

@lucidus: Yes, seemed to be a fluke. My last match was absolutely fine and extremely smooth.

Btw., has anyone tried this with an injector like SweetFX? TXAA really seems to blur the picture badly.
I think I'll try the setup NeoEnigma had for Dishonored (which came with quite blurry textures too) and see what it does

 

MP Looks better.

 

Some places are definitely looking better than others, absolutely. I'll have to shake off the MW3 feeling I get here and there. Using the same engine some modern things simply look too close not to bring up bad memories...

One thing that's still a problem is enemies forfeiting before a round ends. That's just a sign of bad sportsmanship.
