osd is working perfectly but never used the screenshot thing in afterburner
I am trying to contact the makers of FW to add this.
remove it and make it press and release
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Advanced Warfare\players2
bind TAB "togglescores"
bind TAB "+scores"
About the performance, a friend of mine with a 770 and a i7 3770K 4.4 is complaining too about the performance on the second and third level, same as me but ofc he haves much more FPS.
Some senquences run just bad, the third mission i saw 24fps for 2 seconds and 30's with a big mess bottleneck going on, i mean almost all the game is bottlenecked by my CPU, which is funny in my opinion since BF its much more CPU demanding and don't bottleneck me that much.
A funny thing too is that, since AMD threaded Nvidia with mantle and Nvidia released those "DX11 Optimization", i have seen on benchmarks great improvements in performance on the CPUs while using Nvidia.
Which is killing me since my CPU is weak and i would get a better performance with a 750ti for sure.
This is with an AMD GPU
This is with a Nvidia GPU
Those benchs were done on the first level when we exit the building.
The funny thing is that, this don't happen only in this game, but in a bunch of them but not so bad like this one.
Why did i gone AMD?
If they tested 780ti vs 290x it would be more fair, 980gtx is ~20% faster then 290x by default. But yeah nvidia does have better multi threaded driver code.
I think AMD is still missing proper multi threaded support, dunno why are they taking so long, maybe its too difficult for them to do it?
Or that mantle is the answer with uber fine tuned multi threading code.
Anyone have terrible hitches in their cutscenes and been able to make it stop?
I'm getting some nasty frametimes/stuttering in SP, almost everywhere. Some places less then others. 344.48 , don't know if new ones would fix this.. i must try. Anyone else??
While you're there set seta in_mouse "2" which will enable raw input and make the mouse noticeably more fluid. seta r_texFilterAnisoMax "16"
seta r_texFilterAnisoMin "16" should also be set, for some reason only one of them gets changed from the menu, the game will look less washed out if you change both in the config. Make sure to make the file read only as the mouse setting gets reverted if you don't.
Sad but True...I'm very dissapointed
Try disabling game vsync and force via inspector prerender frames to 1 and vsync to on.
I can't complain about performance or hit detection at the moment. The game simply works, graphics are ok and matchmaking has been fluid.
It starts off better than BO2 did for me.
Have you encountered any obvious cheating so far? Aimbots, etc as mentioned above?
So i installed 344.60 turned on vsync in game and limit to 60 with afterburner and 90% of stutter is gone. Lot better than vsync off , although there is obviously some slight input lag , i'm fine with it for SP.
Not so far, no, but I think it would be extremely obvious in this game. Someone tracking you while jump-boosting over your head? Not going to happen unless it's an old Quake "pro"
The cut-scenes are a mess. The audio doesn't sync up and there is hitching.
When playing I encounter hitching as well, but it's not consistent.
Sometime it occurs when I have a slight drop in FPS while other times I can have a large drop and it remains smooth.
With the stuff I suggested I get no stuttering at all (with the latest driver), as smooth as cod 4
For me it's like this:
When I load up the game and the cut scene plays, audio is synced but when I complete that level and get the cut scene for the next level, the audio sync is off. I also noticed that stuttering started to happen after 1-1½ hours of gameplay.
why is it when any call of duty game first released. its has problems?
dont they test they game enough..
and why the hell no video options at the start menu. have to wait for level to load.:bang:
No you don't.
Main menu, press single player. Bottom right of the screen.
