just a heads up peeps, been trying this out for 20 minutes on VPN -newzealand and its nothing like ghosts.

runs fluid has lots of graphics options and looks and plays great.
    ------------------------

though we need a fix from flawless widescreen
seems the game is HOR+ @2560x1080 and 3440x1440 resolutions on the 21.9 aspect ratio monitors.

waiting on a fix from flawless..... hope he is working on one lol cause its very stretched without one.

    ------------------------

As for graphics drivers, there fine but could do with some optimizations
as there is hardly any gpu usage in places.

cant post any screen shots until proper release time as i dont want to get into trouble but it does look good.
you can find screenshots on steams forums on the game and other peoples opinions but the jist is that its nothing like ghosts, i would agree.

again though we need a flawless widescreen fix.

I've played for 30 minutes, it's really good, it's a CPU heavy game, My CPU usage stays around 80%, but in the end, it's a great game.

Watched some twitch streams of it. Honestly it looks like a rip off of Crysis 2 with worse graphics. Wish this series would die already.

If only people could learn from their mistakes and stop paying $60 for ~45 min worth of arcade console shooter gameplay!

Some textures, like screns and some van side drawings are in a really low resolution, is this a bug or it's normal? My settings are all on extra/high.

Of course its not, this COD AW is like COD on steroids, Ghosts is actually more slow placed kinda like Bf4 TDM. Even COD BO2 is faster then Ghosts.

And I could maintain 90fps np in multiplayer @ max settings + DSR and 2xtxaa and dog fur high, main physx off. Its just this jitter that's annoying
    100% fix, vsync + 1 frame + 60fps limit, super smooth.

COD BO2 had it too, but then they fixed it. I saw COD AW has it too @90fps cap, so much for that.. :D

So far I'm struggling ot fix my stuttering. My FPS is capped at 90FPS but sometimes my fps can go as low as 15FPS and stutters even on 91FPS. I don't know if it's an amd bug or not. I'm on 2560x1440@96Hz

I seem to maintain 70-110 fps with one card and it is very smooth. If I enable crossfire I get some serious negative scaling. Performance drops to 20-45 fps.
Also mine isn't capped at 90 fps, whats that all about?

My experience with new releases and CFX support :bang:

If your game crashes within a few minutes:
Game was crashing for me due to extra crap being in the recording devices in sound options. You can't manually define what device to use as a mic so there was a conflict there. Just disabled them all except for the mic and it fixed it.

    Crossfire:
Disable it. Negative scaling. If you try any custom profile, things load extremely slow and then it ends up using a single gpu anyway.

    Maps not loading in multiplayer:
Disable preload shaders option. The maps, like Defender, where it stutters severely due to shaders loading, really needs this option enabled but if you do enable it then the load screen takes too long and the server kicks you.

    Blurry:
Use SMAA 1x. FXAA and Filmic are incredibly blurry.

Disk write error or not enough disk space error upon launch:
Most likely you installed the game in program files(x86) steam folder. You need to right-click the steam folder, go properties, security, edit, tick full access for users.

I have pagefile disabled but my ram wasn't getting utilized with an extra 10GB. Not sure if I should enable it or not.

Not, why use HDD/SSD if you have enough RAM?

    edit
But I would suggest to set a low amount under 1GB both min and max the same on the OS drive, no matter how much RAM one has.

May I ask what graphics driver you currently have installed?

    ---

I found a workaround on reddit simply disable "cache sun shadow maps" and "cache spot shadow maps" in the settings for the textures to display properly.

When I did leave the sun and spot cache enabled I used about ~1400MB's of vram @ 1080p and ~1100 MB's of vram @ 1080p when disabled.
