What the hell are you people talking about, the diff between DX7 and DX9 are minimal. All the spec affects are there, peoples breath, smoke and shadows ect...

I find it hard to beleive the new drivers will double the FPS which is what needs to happen to be able to play with DX9. If any of you are playing with DX9 (using a single card and CPU) you either don't notice the frame rate drops (can't tell the diff between 30-60 fps) or are kidding your self;)

Anything under 60fps is crap IMO, thats why I use Dx7@1280x1024 4xAA, 8x AF and everything maxed:) I will have an easy time with you in multiplayer as well:p

Later on when I get around to it, I'll post screens of the OBVIOUS differences in DX7 and DX9

Doesn't mean in multiplayer you will own.i owned in Q4 at 1600x1200 average framerate was around 40 fps and i won one out of two games,it was so clear to frag at that res.
Rodman you got a nice pc,do you want a challenge?check out this thread.......

Ok, am actually considering to return my copy of CoD2 when it arrives...

    http://archive.gamespy.com/stats/mods.asp?id=1296&s=1

That doesnt look so good, I mean the Single player is fun and all but I play the MP more so I dont think I should spend $50 on a game that wont be so popular online.

LOL , you cant judge a game when only the US has it ? Worlds biggest online gamers are from Europe..

    Give it some time dude...

PS. Looking at those stats its becuase of Game Spy.. Have you logged in to GS recently no one uses it.

Going by the above stats it says 3 server 0 player for COD UO , well thats bull

    use ASE or somin...

    Marcdaddy,
That's nice, but what are you COD2 in-game settings set to?
    Max everything? Extra everything?
