I currently have the Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r used for about 6 months and there is a chance to get :

1- a brand new Asus Rampage III Formula for my old mobo + $175
    2- a brand new EVGA FTW3 for my old mobo + $130

so what you think is it a good move or should i stick with my current mobo and save the money for something else

sorry for being long and TIA

i voted keep what you have

For the cpu you have just now ur mobo is fine imho, and if in the future you wanna get a rampage, just sell your mobo and get one, the prices should be about the same.

You can pick them up here in the UK for about £200 brand new. so not sure how that translates to $'s......

Agreed. Just keep what you have... not really worth it imo.

don't think you will see any perceivable gains by changing your mobo; voted KEEP current one.
