Buying a new Gaming Monitor: 16ms 17" LCD vs 19" Flat CRT

Don't know if you already got the monitor but I'll post my own review on my A90F+:

I baby it, keeping the finger touching on the screen to a minimum since Electro-Static-Discharge can damage the monitor that way. Though, after about 2 years of owning this, the monitor also does give me the horizontal line problem going down the screen also. Another thing the text has become blurry for me and I have to lower the contrast and brightness to a lower level and I don't like to do that. I thought Viewsonic was a name I could trust, but when I looked at their website they offer a 3 year warranty parts and labor, but excludes a group of monitors such as the A90F+, which only has 1 year parts and labor.

 

19'' CRT all the way. Considering you have a 6800, you'll be wanting a screen that does 1600x1200, and LCD's supporting this are very expensive. CRT's with this on the other hand, are cheap, cheerful and plenty.
