http://bumptop.com/ those of you who have seen my desktop screenshots probably are aware of bumptop. Bumptop has been in a closed-beta phase for quite a long time, up until now. With the latest beta version of Bumptop, I can now hand out 3 invites for those who wish to try Bumptop for themselves (and they will be able to send out 3 invites themselves). So if you're interested, pm me your e-mail and I'll send you the invites (only applicable to the first 3). And for others, feel free to post your thoughts on the emerging "3d desktop" trend.
lol, pm me your e-mail address, I have 2 invites left (1 went to dougk). You can only send invites out after you've installed the program, mind you.
Wow, what a cool idea. I would well be up for an invite. Just let me know what to do, assuming anyone would like to give me an invite. EDIT: Just watched the video. PLEASE. MUST HAVE MOAR.
it doesn't load the GPU as far as I know, I leave it on 24-7 and I don't see the temps going up at all. It also doesn't load the CPU either as far as I can tell. and sorry guys, I ran out of invites. Ask dougk, Dmented, or theman7233 for invites.
Don't ask me I'm all out too. :x EDIT: Just letting people know I've installed it on Windows 7 and it works fine, for anyone interested.
you know the bumptop icon that appears in your systray? right-click on that and you'll see the button "invite friends". I like the idea behind bumptop simply because I'm bored with the normal desktop/mac layout, and widgets/gadgets don't appeal to me. Since I have a lot of image folders (which contains you know what  ), Bumptop helps in spicing the folders up. EDIT: Also, I came across a group that's working on some interesting features for Bumptop, http://indakind.com More features will be added to Bumptop during the full release, such as 3d icon support, etc.
