    GFWD? :nerd:

I didn't know that. I might not mind so much if the Gears of War game was available on PC (none have been since the first, no?), but that's still a drag.

So... Cliff Bleszinski is starting up the rumor mill.

He posted on his Twitter account...
Yes, People Can Fly did separate from Epic earlier this year. Going back to their original, independent roots.
And, they also got full ownership of the BulletStorm IP.

They've also said they are already working on an Unreal Engine powered game.
Now while I've absolutely LOVE a new BulletStorm to happen, and even more so given that Epic and EA wouldn't be involved.

I'm not exactly ready to just start jumping up and down for joy. This is just a rumor, and mostly just blind speculation from Cliff who has nothing solid to base his "assumption" on.
But, BulletStorm 2? Anyone else think that would be absolutely awesome?

i enjoyed the first game, as i remember it was the first game on the unreal engine 3.5, hoping for more of the same if the second game came out.

The first was fun, but they'd have to come up with a lot of new stuff to even remotely draw me in. The characters and world don't necessitate a sequel, but its style, weapons and combat in a new game? I'm up for that!

Best gaming news I've read this year as the original outing was some of the most fun fps gaming I've ever had and I always felt it deserved a follow up. Bring on the pain you ****ers! :D

So glad to see so many fans of the first one. :) I absolutely love BulletStorm, and still have it installed.
It was actually one of the first games I installed when I upgraded my PC.

So, returning to those characters, that style of gameplay... would be a dream come true for me.
A new BulletStorm sits even with a new Dead Space.

I see this as just Cliff trying to get his name out there even more.
He seems to thrive on any attention he can get. Even if it is just empty rumors and such.

At the DNF release party in Texas, Cliff was there. People who didn't know who he was, he ignored and walked away from.
But the minute someone was all "OH! You're Cliffy B!!!" he was ready for a picture and an autograph.

    Some of those as well
Also loved Bulletstorm! Still looks luverly and really is a balls to the wall all out shooter. That fight against the massive plant thing where you're sliding around on your arse the whole time is awesome!

Would buy a sequel without question!

Wait, People Can Fly is also Polish?
Like CD Projekt RED, Techland, The Astronauts... Flying Wild Hog...

It seems Poland is almost all I need for my gaming needs, excellent work lately!
    Keep it up!

PS: have yet to get Bulletstorm, will probably pick it up when it's on sale the next time. Love old-school FPS's and support is where support is due, to Polish gaming industry.

The Astronauts, Flying Wild Hog and The Farm 51 (the lesser known of the three) were all born out of People Can Fly.

Shorty after People Can Fly's big success with Painkiller and Battle out of Hell, the studio had a differing of opinions on what the next project should be.
Some left the studio, founded The Farm 51 and started NecroVisioN.

Shortly after, PCF was bought by Epic and after porting Gears of War to PC, they started BulletStorm.
During it's development, members of the team disliked working with (for) Epic and left. Partnering with former members of CD Projekt Red and City Interactive and founded Flying Wild Hog.

And some after after that, the Adrian Chmielarz, also formerly of People Can Fly, founded The Astronauts and developed The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

People Can Fly are responsible for a lot of the great studios, and by extension the great games that have come out of that area. I'm so glad they are no longer Epic's little servants and are free again to work on their own projects.

^ oh yeah, forgot about City Interactive.

Thanks for sharing some interesting history behind the groups. Definitely many of the best videogames of the 21st century originate from them.

    Go Poland!
